I didn't need to give evidence… I thought it was obvious.
yes, not all water will freeze at 0°C, this is true. but in normal circumstances, water WILL freeze at 0°C.
Killer – the link you posted did not back up your point at all. like I said, it wasn't water at all! it's a Sodium acetate solution. You can read up on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_acetate
and view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy6eKm8IRdI
the exothermic reaction, which means the solution instantly freezes when it comes into contact with a warm or a hot surface. it may look like ice, but in fact it gives out a lot of heat.
But if I'm guessing right, I think you're talking about Supercooling:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercooling
in which case, it doesn't have much to do with dirt, but rather not allowing the water to crystallize. in other words, you do not allow the water to have the nesacary nuclei in order to start the freezing process. this is also called nucelation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nucleation
_______
Now, considering you said that “Water doesn't actually freeze”, you still end up wrong because water DOES freeze. there is no denying it.
If say, you rephrased it to something like “Water needs a seeded nucleus to start the freezing reaction”, then that would be true.
so you're right, but you're also wrong. Stop crying to the world and accept that sometimes everyone, including yourself, is going to be wrong about something.
_______
So now we all have a rather in-depth knowledge about water, sodium accetate, supercooling, and ice formation. can we move on now?

May 10, 2009 at 4:09 am #25103P0kennyMemberFact. The air/water that comes out of your mouth when you sneeze is travelling at roughly 5 times the speed of sound.
May 10, 2009 at 4:21 am #25104shadeblackParticipantlol wut?
if you break the sound barrier every time you sneeze, we'd be deaf… sorry, but i don't believe that! You'll have to prove that one! 😀
May 10, 2009 at 4:42 am #25105KILLER369Memberim sorry but your all hypocrites. you know, i’ll just do U all a favour and leave. personally, i believe that your all a bunch of self richous, hypocritical, narrow minded bunch of yahoos.
just remember wat i said in previous posts. I promise you that I will make the impossible reality, i will start by ‘curing’ death. i have the formula right here. i just need a laboratory to make it. it should take roughly 30 years to get to the standards i need to be trusted with such a task. death is a mere obstacle to life.
just keep your eye out for it. then maybe with just a little bit of possibility, you may just realise how narrow minded you actually are. and seeing as you have NO comon sense im talking to those who would disagree without a basis to build upon.
so, i am leaving you people too your site.
heres a little notification on your self richousness. you never once thaught about ADMIN.
i say this. im sorry that your site has became a battle ground for the people that have participated in the arguing. i aplogise for my main part in this. i hope that i didn’t cause you too much upset, and hope that you continue this great site.
i now say good bye.
May 10, 2009 at 5:01 am #25106MiiiitchMemberOMG people on here need to lighten up.
Everyone is entittled to have his/her own beliefs so lets not try to outsmart each other all the time. I will say that yes alot of KILLER369’s beliefs seem weird and strange but he is allowed to have them. Besides the fights i have learnt alot of things and opened my mind to some ideas i’m not saying i believe them i’m just saying there interesting.
May 10, 2009 at 5:35 am #25112P0kennyMemberEpidemiology
While generally harmless in healthy individuals, sneezes are capable of spreading disease through the potentially infectious aerosol droplets that they can expel, which commonly range from 0.5 to 5 µm in diameter. About 40,000 such droplets can be produced by a single sneeze.
The speed of human sternal release has been the source of much speculation, with the most conservative estimates placing it around 150 kilometers/hour (42 meters/second) or roughly 95 mph (135 feet/second), and the highest estimates -such as the Health World Museum in Barrington, Illinois- which propose a speed as fast as 85% of the speed of sound, corresponding to approximately 1045 kilometers per hour (290 meters/second) or roughly 650 mph (950 feet/second).Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sneeze
Sorry, I knew I was wrong but someone told me that one day. To be honest I do wish I hadn’t believe him but he was saying it with such passion that I believed him…
So basicly you can sneeze (in theroy and I know this isn’t a theroy thread) anything up to 85% of the speed of sound.
Real Fact. You can’t sneeze without closing your eyes. It is believed that if you managed it your eyes would pop out due to the force of the sneeze.
May 10, 2009 at 8:11 am #25116kingawolMemberKILLER – i wonder if you realise that EVERYTHING you claim us to be defines YOU – and your own self righteousness. you will never , not in 30years nor in 300, achieve the scientific miracles you speak of , or you’d be the greatest genius in the history of mankind , and having read your posts , you’re not. once again saying ‘im right you awful hypocrites are wrong’ is indeed the highest form of self righteousness.
May 10, 2009 at 1:19 pm #25119shadeblackParticipantI don't mean to be ruse, but I thinik Killer is a troll. not an actuall troll of course, but an internet troll.
he claims no one visited his links, when i visited every one of them. he then denies it.
he calls us hippocrites, when in fact, he is the one preaching his beliefs onto us.
he calls us narrow minded, which is highly prejudicial.
he calls us self-righteous when he thorougly believes his own beliefs are of greater value than others.
in my last post before his (before my post about the sneeze) I basically prooved killer partly correct, but he still says all this about.
I'm sorry but you're either a troll, or just F'ing insane.
Let it be known, that I've tried more than once to get through to killer, trying to get him to calm down and such… and not only me who have tried, but still killer carries on, hanging on to little things. so yeah… I call troll.
