there are loads of good gamers with low trophy levels

e.g.  lots of people at the tops of online leaderboards will have few trophies because they are a dedicated gamer for that one game. this is true of cod4/5 and r2

Don't pull that freedom of speech crap on me lol. This is directly taken from wikipedia.

The right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on “hate speech“. 

in this case, freedom of speech does not apply when prejudging others. 

How exactly do you agree with me, when you then continue to contradict what i've said. 

you should have wrote: “I do not agree with you”.  Then, and only then, could you even consider the freedom of speech argument.

Trophy levels are not a scale of how good you are at gaming.  I for one, enjoy the game far more than hunting for trophies.  As a case subject, my friend is an excellent gamer and excells at nearly every game he gets his hands on.  Yet, he does not collect any optional trophies.

Prejudging a person, when you have no real understanding of them is morally wrong.  The argument here is, do you really think it isn't?

Having loads of trophies does not make you a professional gamer. having a high level does not make you a better gamer than anyone else.  I've said this from the start.

i.e I consider myself a very good dedicated / pro / whatever you wanna call it, but I've somewhat given up on obtaining trophies.  What I do now is get the trophies if 1) i like the game and happen to buy it, and 2) if I can be bothered to do what's needed to obtain the platinum.  if there's a no to either one, then I just don't bother anymore.

I still enjoy the hunt, but i feel it's not as nessacary as i thought it was back with firmware 2.4

Let me change that to 'dedicated gamer' or 'gamer in the know'

You must have some degree of skill/patience/determination or whatever to have lots of trophies though.

well actually you can measure how good a gamer is at certain games.

if they have finished a games story they should have atleast 1 trophy for it, either bronz silver or gold. wether or not those trophy(ies) were sought after or obtained accidentally, it doesn’t matter, either way they have to complete “challenges” on story missions to progress through the game.

so, if someone has say, COD5, and hasn’t got 1 COD5 trophy then, based on (talking to everybody who reads this) your knowledge of COD5 trophies, is he/she good at COD5 if he/she hasn’t got 1 trophy on COD5?

yeah your right. the trophy list is lagit, but the eas of the plat really depends on the difficulty of the game.
