I can't wait! I relly liked Guerilla, and I've been following this series since the first one.
August 29, 2010 at 9:24 pm #66001I773D33MABL3MemberGuerilla was unreal. I platted it recently and the announcement of another one was just perfect. Here's hoping they fixed up the online a bit.
August 29, 2010 at 10:39 pm #66007gr8jrfanMemberIt looks solid. No collectables this time please!
August 29, 2010 at 11:52 pm #66009I773D33MABL3MemberOr at least a reasonable amount of collectables. I don't mind 32 holo-tags but I can do without the other 550 things I need to find.
August 30, 2010 at 3:12 am #66017gr8jrfanMemberThe way i see it is that collectables dont belong in open world games. inFamous,GTA4, and those frikin Mafia 2 posters derailed my love of their worlds because i was going around in circles in a district while i could be enjoying the story or something else. It gets rid of the freedom.

You don't HAVE to collect them. They're just there for an extra and so you can have something to do after you have completed the main story missions and/or side missions.
and how does it get rid of the freedom…dumb ass..
August 30, 2010 at 4:35 pm #66031parnakasMemberGame sounds sweet. Loved Guerilla. Probably my favourite game to blow the crap out of buildings. I only had the game for a week though. Was borrowing it off my good friend. I was so surprised at how much I was enjoying the game. Great shooting and driving if you ask me.
And I never tried the online, heard it was decent though. I might check it out if I'm able to pick this game up. Looking forward to it.
And collectables shouldn't ruin the story or anything, because if you really wanted to enjoy a game, you would get the collectables after the game is finished, after you have taken in the story. So I really don't understand how it ruins a games story at all. And ruining the freedom? If anything, it adds to it, makes you explore the city/place more. Collectables are usually for after you beat a game, then you can go back and get stuff you missed. So saying it ruins “freedom” and the story, is BS if you ask me.

Collectibles are the worst and most boring part of any game, I just hate looking around for some stupid little things cus I have 1 more trophie for the plat, especially games like U2 or MW2 where u have 2 go through the whole story again
O well, thank god for guides

how does it get rid of freedom? your free to choose whether or not to collect them in the first place!, i generally don't bother collecting all colectibles in most games for a pixel in the cyber world, unless it unlocks something useful in game!
