just out of curiosity, i'm just wondering how old some of you guys are.. i'm a life long gamer myself, i'm 28 and the first game i recall playing was Return of the Jedi on Atari 2600.. tho my dad had to help since i was 2 1/2..

just wondering if there are any 8-bit vets like myself around the forums?

well, im the youngest here 🙂

im 12 and the first game i ever played was either crash bandicoot 2 or the spider-man game on the ps1 i was about 2 so my cousin helped me

I am not much older. I am 13, the first game I played was Crash Bandicoot on PS1. Loved that game.

I'm 13 and the first game I was playing was Spyro or Crash. I started playing with the fat PS1 when I was like 3 or 4, I still have one old PS1 slim right next to the PS3. Just look what Sony did in only 10 years! And I still have a fat PS2 but not in my room.

Im 15 and i think golden axe was my first game i played. i still have my ps2 but not my ps1…

I'm 23. We used to have an atari, but my first real memory of video games was unboxing an NES and playing Mario and Zelda with my older brother. We had an old computer around that time too, where you had to put floppy disks that were actually floppy into it in order to run any applications (dig dug all the way!). I still have the golden version of Legend of Zelda and a few others, but unfortunately my NES no longer outputs sound and the video is only black and white… I have no idea why.

Despite the fact DeadKlown lives up the road and was here the other day, I'll still leave a response to this.

Yeah, I'm Mark and I'm 26. First videogaming memory was before kindergarten when my dad would go to work in the morning but left detailed instructions on how to access games on our old 8088 computer. Had instructions to get into “Wheel of Fortune” in DOS. Of course at that time computers did not have hard drives. There was a series of “Big Blue Disks” (Thats the name of the series and does not reflect on the size, nor color of the disks) that came on 5 1/4″ disks that had an assortment of applications and games on them. If you think games like DOOM look ancient you have NO idea…This was LONG before the technological marvel known as the 486 Processor.

According to my parents they gave me dads old intellivision before that, but I cant remember playing anything on it. Probably just rubbed the controller up and down my face all day long, so not much has changed I guess.

My names Nick and im 15 . The first game i remember playing would be the original super mario when i was about 2 or 3 along with my cousin . I was hooked , the rest is history .

I'm 13 and my first game was Medal Of Honour on my uncles PS1

That led to a great love of FPS's.

16 years old, played a lot of those arcade games back in the day..

Then i discovered Crash Bandicoot, and played all of them to 100% when i was about 7. Loved those damn games!!
