Hi, does anyone know a place that i can get a legit ringtone for free or a small fee?
I really want a Santeria (by Sublime) ringtone, but i dont know where to get one. And i know theres a lot of scams in the ringtone business, so help would be greatly appreciated!
December 26, 2009 at 8:44 pm #53828Domba_carMemberIt depends on what kind of phone you have. You should know if you got a USB connector thingy so that you can transfer media. You can buy these but you get them with most phones. If you don't have it (or can't get it) then I can't help you. If you do then just download it from any website or LimeWire or anything. Then just copy it to your phone (under music ofcourse). Can you give me the model name? Exmp. Sony Ericsson K770i (my old phone) and I will be ably to give you more info.
December 27, 2009 at 2:30 am #53839parnakasMemberDomba – i got a Samsung SGH-J706, on a Rogers Canada Plan. I do have a USB Connecting thing, and i have put some music files on, but it wont let me use it as ringtones..
December 27, 2009 at 12:47 pm #53852Domba_carMemberTry to dig into your phone and find a folder with all of the media you CAN use as a ringtone, put Santeria (or any other media) into there.
Is this your song http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/356601/santeria-ringtone/ ?

lucky.. i never here any sublime on the radio.. Santeria is probably my favorite song of all time! I love it!! The video is awesome, yet so sad.. RIP Brad.
All thats on the radio here is rap, hip-hop, etc. Like 2 radio stations play rock.. ones a classic rock, others alternative.. pisses me off!
December 31, 2009 at 5:54 pm #54225CoryAllenMemberwe have more rock stations than that. about half rap and 1/4 country and 1/4 rock lol. the big 2 are a great classic rock station and a station that does current and classic rock.
haven't seen that video. because any time i hear sublime i get pissed now lol. santeria more than any zep song??
January 1, 2010 at 8:26 pm #54316parnakasMemberCory – Zeppelin is to great to rank on a greatest song list.. lol

January 3, 2010 at 12:16 am #54373ecurryMemberI usually make my own ringtones rather than buying them .wav files are usually multi platform across various mobile phone manufacturer's and in a lot of models mp3 format is acceptable. to convert mp3's to wav i use a program called audacity – useful app for editing sound files
