does any one see the point in special adition games.
personally i luv them and even pre-ordered the £99.99 version of mw2
or do you think their a waste of money?
October 1, 2009 at 11:15 pm #44497Ratchet525Memberi don't really care for them, seeing that most of them come with an art book, a disk that plays all the music in the game, and an action figure or something else
October 1, 2009 at 11:21 pm #44499gr8jrfanMemberi wouldnt get any special edition game other than god of war3

October 1, 2009 at 11:50 pm #44510Collbreast_23Memberare you even from the UK?! it was made public knowledge that to purchase prestige edition of MW2 in the UK, you MUST go to HMV as they got exclusive rights to it! seems like you wasted £100
October 1, 2009 at 11:55 pm #44511that_big_steve-o_guyMemberacctualy all NVG editions that HMV did have ( which were verry small to begin with) sold out in days.

October 2, 2009 at 3:46 am #44537gow2rulesMemberaustralia one of the few countries not in reccesion
a few quotes from the article
As you may also know Australia is the only major advanced economy not to have gone into recession.
Australia now has the strongest economic growth of the world's 33 advanced economies and is the only one to have recorded positive growth through the year to June.
Australia's economy grew by 0.6 per cent in the June quarter and we can certainly say that as a national economy, Australia is better placed than most other nations.

October 2, 2009 at 2:36 pm #44559BigWoopMagazineMemberBack on the topic – No. I do not see any point in special editions. 99% of the time I get a new game, the case goes in a box in a my closet, and the disc goes in a cd holder with the rest of my games, and I never look at the case or manual again. Why pay more to get a shinier one? Also, the few times I have gotten special stuff with my game (most recently was PoP with a “behind the scenes” disc), I never even look at it. All I want is to play the game. Thats why I buy the game. If I wanted NVG's, I'd go out and get a good set thats actually designed to be used by hunters or military personnel. If I wanted a batarang, I'd go get a good one that is made of solid metal, and actually works, so I could hurt people with it from down the street when they piss me off.
