See this http://ps3.ign.com/articles/107/1078589p1.htmlbelieve that ign is right and also in the water i see Kratos
March 19, 2010 at 2:55 pm #60008BigWoopMagazineMemberIGN is right about what? that the website exists. Well, yes, then they are.
Its not a new game. Its certainly GOW related, and the team has publicly stated they will not be doing another GOW game for a long time, if at all. Therefore it is either DLC of some sort, or just a tease. If its DLC, its either new story content, or the long rumored but highly unlikely multiplayer. See the four bars in the symbol? Look a hell of a lot like health bars, don't they? Hmmm.. .and the multiple spartan helmets at each segment… could be different players, eh? They often times said that multiplayer doesn't fit with Krato's story – but they never said that multiplayer wouldn't happen. It might, but you would probably play as a spartan, or some other character instead.
Just an additional note – anyone seen that upside down V symbol anywhere in the series? I feel like I have but I can't place where. Of course, it does remind me of Borderlands (/\), and Assassin's Creed uses something similar. Its probably just a spartan symbol, but if anyone can figure out what that represents, its the biggest clue on the site.
March 19, 2010 at 3:29 pm #60010MiiiitchMemberHow exactly has the title of the thread got anything to do with the article you linked, maybe a bit more thought on the title next time.
Haven't played GoW 3 yet as my backlog is crammed but I wouldn't mind seeing multiplayer but it'd have to be done well because iot could lose the series it's entire credibility if they screwed it up.

whats the point in being an ass over the title of the thread.
March 19, 2010 at 5:01 pm #60012parnakasMemberMiiitch: I believe the article stated that Sony was hinting at rewarding people who got Plats in GOW3 early. Heres a quote:
“Sony hints at something as players earn God of War III platinum trophy.”
So thats probably what Antony was referring to.
BigWoop: I doubt its anything with multiplayer. Its most likely some DLC stuff as you mentioned.
March 19, 2010 at 6:50 pm #60020BigWoopMagazineMember@Parnakas – ditto, like I said, highly unlikely
@miiiitch – It probably has something to do with that IGN hypothesised the red bar may be filling up as a result of people earning trophies – so he's saying start earning those platinums to see if we can fill the red bar? I'm not sure, just my guess.
@firestarter – whats the point in questioning his post, rather than contributing to the discussion at hand?
I don't think multiplayer would ruin any credibility to the series, since the trilogy is as of now finalized, and incredibly fantastic and epic – any multiplayer as an after thought would be an optional DLC. I also think if they decided to do it, it wouldn't be some half assed thing. I really don't think it will happen, since I feel any multiplayer would require other playable characters which means different move sets and weapons, and to do that and provide well balanced combat seems like a difficult task to me. It was mentioned in an interview (I forget with what person, but they were on the dev team) that there were some scenarios that got cut from the final project, because it was just simply too much content. Within that same interview they said that if there was DLC, bringing in that cut content would be something they'd want to do, and if it happened that it would be free. If I can find the article I'll post a link… but thats what I really expect to see.

Wasn't being an a$$ d**khead i was simply asking a question. What's the point in joining a forum to make a pointless post?
@parnakas and bigwoop. My bad I kinda skimmed over that part, was a bit late here when I poseted lol. Thanks.
March 19, 2010 at 11:41 pm #60026parnakasMemberBigWoop: About the whole multiplayer thing: I agree with pretty much everything you said! That DLC would be great, especially if it was free!
But, i do think that the devs should just leave God Of War alone for a while. They have executed a pretty much flawless game with GoW3 to end the series, and i think it should end with that. I really don't see any NEW things happening with the GoW world.
And i really don't think multiplayer would work, unless they did something similar to Brutal Legend, because the two games are fairly similar gameplay wise. But they would really have to work hard, as everyone would have HUGE expectations.
Those guys at Santa Monica Stuidios should just take a 5 year break, and take in all their success, they deserve it.

It would be hard for them to do a Brutal Legend type multiplayer as it would take away alot from the gameplay as Brutal Legand in some aspects is a hack and slash but the battles were all RTS based, I don't think it could work for GoW 3 but I'm hoping they do something like co-op or maybe like an arena based co-op where you face a magnitude of enemies, similar to that of the Dante's Inferno “Trials of St Lucia” co-op.
March 20, 2010 at 11:55 am #60034Antony19MemberGuys there will be a DLC for GOW3. Those of you who have bought the pandora edition or Ultimate edition they should have a code where you can download the challenge of Exile. So this is what the DLC is going to be about. And also i believe that santa monica is going to make another game similiar to GOW but probably without the same character
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
beacause Kratos kill him self at the end of the game

@Miiitch: Some co-op would be awesome! I doubt that would be difficult at all, and i think it could work pretty well. Hopefully they could do that.
