Anyone else think this awesome band should do another album?

They are probably one of my favs of all time, and i was devastated when i heard they were on hiatus (long-term separation).

I wish they would come back… give me some new stuff to listen to other than all the crap thats currently out there. At least Maiden has a new album this year!

But still.. anyone listen to these guys? If so, whats your fav song?

Mines probably Cigaro.

And no one come on this thread and post – THEY SUCK and crap like that or i will eat your toes. Seriously.

chop suey is my favourite of theirs.

however, I prefer Linkin Park to them. not the new stuff though… and Jay-Z ruined LP as well… I mean meteora and hybrid theory <— legendary music right there!

yea shade, old Linkin Park was incredible. New Linkin Park is complete garbage though.

I still prefer S.O.A.D any day though… And my band knows how to do a good cover of Chop Suey.

They were an awesome band. I think that they are the best ’sing-a-long’ metal band ever. My favourite song is Radio/Video. Reason why is (during the slow bit) one of my RL friends has a funny dance to this song.

Have you heard Scars on Broadway yet? One of their songs is extreamly catchey. It is called ‘Stoner Hate’. It is most of the S.O.A.D. band, without one of the guitarest’s and the drumer. Oh and no Serj. It isn’t as good as S.O.A.D. but still funny, and good to sing along too

I own every studio album by the band. My favorite song is the first song I heard by them (Sugar). Anywho, I would rather let them get there creative energies out. If they want to come back together, that is cool. If it doesn't happen, life will go on.

Scars on Broadway is System Of A Down with no Serj…. LAME!! i dont like Scars

I do rather like Serj Tankian's solo stuff…. Beethoven's Cunt is a cray song.

I agree with you there Pan, except I only like one of scars’ songs. And that is ‘stoner hate’. You should give that one a listen, it is a catchy one. Plus it has supercalafragalisticexpialadouchous in the song. I mean come, it is the perfect sing-a-long… Which is what S.O.A.D. were all about. Oh and I heard a rumor that S.O.A.D. were going to get back togeather to do a tour soon and make another album, of which Serj is writing now… but I wouldn’t get your hopes up as it is only a rumor.

wtf? Tenacious D are posers… they are funny, but their music gets pretty old..

Anywho, Pok…i looked up that song..pretty decent.

And yea i heard that rumor too.. i heard 2010 was release date.

Fingers crossed. I hope they have some S.O.A.D in VidZone too. That would be cool.

Random Fact moment, The song Chop Seuy was only called as such so he could eat it in the music video 😀

Chop Suey was supposed to be called Rolling On Suicide. You can hear Serj say it in the beginning of the song. They changed it due to controversy.

About the VidZone thing…. good luck with that.

The first two LP albums were brilliant, and are still on my ipod, unlike that minutes to midnight shit!!

I prefer Disturbed though, The Sickness is an amazing album.

I would imagine they would be in vidzone – Chop Suey and Toxicity are very popular tracks.
