The rest are renters.

actually it is CODMW2.. they have said they are giving it the call of duty name, they cant not do seen as it IS call of duty, modern warfare 2 is just its nickname that everyone will use, modern warfare 2 would be a completely different game if it did not have the call of duty bit before.. might as well just say COD6 though to stop all the arguemeents people have over it, at the end of the day, who cares what a game is called

agreed tim it will be refered to as MW2, but in order for it to have a 2 in it then there would have to have been a game before it that being call of duty modern warfare, so MW2 would just be the next chapter in the saga of the call of duty series, if it wasnt a call of duty game then they would have no place to call it modern warfare let alone distinguish it as a sequel

they changed it because everyone wanted it to be changed back as it wasnt as well known without the 'brand' name

yes and no codmw2 is a sequel to the first one (codmw)but the sixth game in the cod franchise
