The Saboteur Trophy Guide
Well it's been quite a while but I'm dropping another guide on you guys, I hope you enjoy using it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please Note: This guide is being made from my experience with the game yours may vary and if you have any additional info that may help other please post it.
Introduction:
Firstly congratulations on purchasing this game it is definitely Pandemic's finest work and I'm sure you will not be disappointed. You play through the game Sean Devlin a tough as nails Irish bloke who don't take crap from no one especially Nazi's. The setting for this game is 1940's Paris as the Nazi's quickly move in it soon becomes clear that you have only one option: to become The Saboteur and cause an uprising so large that it inspires an entire nation.
Overview:
No. Of Trophies: 46, 1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 11 Silver & 32 Bronze
Difficulty: 4/10
Approx time to Platinum: 30-50 Hours
There are about 15 story related trophies throughout the game so instead of putting spoilers I will simply put “Story Related” instead don't fret though as none of these can be missed.
Complete all other trophies (Complete all other trophies)
Okay you know the drill collect all other trophies for this shiny new platinum
Knockwurst (You bested your opponents in the bar fight.)
Story Related
Out of the Frying Pan (You escaped from Germany.)
Story Related
Crashlander (You sent the Nazi zeppelin down in flames.)
Story Related
Bridge Buster (You destroyed the train.)
Story Related
Repo Man (You recovered the Aurora.)
Story Related
Rescue (You rescued Veronique.)
Story Related
Pole Position (You beat Dierker in the Parisian race.)
Story Related
Payback (You blew up “Doppelsieg.”)
Story Related
The Legend Begins (You completed The Saboteur.)
Once you finish the game you will receive this
Tourist (You collected all monument postcards.)
Postcards are free play targets so you'll collect all these during your general destruction of targets
Hell on Wheels (You achieved victory in all free play races.)
There are 3 freeplay races you'll get this once winning the 3rd
Weapon Master (You purchased all weapons available in the shops.)
Once you purchase the last weapon from the black-market you'll get this.
Solid Gold (You completed all gold level perks.)
Most of these will be easy to achieve but some will either require a stealthy approach or some careful planning. You will be able to purchase 1 silver and 1 gold perk from the black-market i suggest buying the mechanic related perks as they are the most tedious to earn.
Saint Honoré (You spent 75,000 contraband.)
If you've finished the game and all targets you'll have spent somewhere near the 50,000 mark so a simple solution is to set the game difficulty to feckin hard and simply kill yourself once you re-spawn go to a weapons dealer and you'll notice most of you ammo for all weapons is gone simply buy it all back and you'll spend 2,125 simply rinse and repeat as many times as you need.
Demolition Derby (You destroyed 50 vehicles.)
Pretty simple trophy that should come during the natural course of the game if you've been destroying targets as you play
Fenderbender (You crashed Dierker's car.)
Story Related
Top o' the World (You climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower.)
Once you have access to Area 3 of Paris you'll be able to do this there are lifts on each level then a staircase to the very top the trophy should come straight away if not just wait up there for a moment
Liberator of France (You inspired the people of France.)
This trophy will come once you have inspired all 3 areas of Paris, the way you do this is by doing the various side quests, make sure you pay more attention to side quests when they are available.
Silent Death (You stealth killed 50 Nazis.)
If you're like me and prefer the stealthy approach then this will come very quickly
Northern Command (You inspired the people of Paris Area 1.)
“See Liberator of France
Western Command (You inspired the people of Paris Area 2.)
“See Liberator of France”
Southern Command (You inspired the people of Paris Area 3.)
“See Liberator of France”
Buried Secrets (The Resistance was born.)
Story Related
Road Trip (You've arrived in Germany with Jules.)
Story Related
Pint and a Shag (You got lucky with Skylar.)
Story Related
Chain Smoker (You smoked way too much.)
To smoke a cigarette just stop moving and press L3, wait till Sean has lit it then walk away you only need to smoke 100 for the trophy so you can just do it every now and then or grind it all at once.
Into the Fire (You reached Paris.)
Story Related
Casanova (You kissed 50 women.)
Once you have met Father Dennis he will have side quests for you and you must go to his church to do them across the road is a set of stairs simply shoot one of the Nazi's to raise the alarm and you will notice a woman standing the press triangle and Sean will kiss her as a means of escape. It's best to grind this one out all at once as there are not many women around in the game.
Silver Streak (You obtained your first silver perk.)
Just earn your first silver perk
Gold Medalist (You obtained your first gold perk.)
Just earn your first gold perk
Freeplay Trophies:
More than half your time will be spent destroying the targets there are over 1,500 targets to destroy and any approach will do although being disguised is usually the best method.
First Blood
You completed your first ambient free play event.
Commando (You completed each type of ambient free play.)
Wrecking Crew (You completed 333 ambient free play in Paris Area 1.)
Unnatural Disaster (You completed 212 ambient free play in Paris Area 2.)
Walking WMD (You completed 239 ambient free play in Paris Area 3.)
Fatherland Fighter (You completed 53 ambient free play in Saarbrucken.)
Coast Guard (You completed 76 ambient free play in Le Havre.)
Guerrilla Warfare (You completed 425 ambient free play in the countryside.)
Pigeon Parfait (You played 'Bird Blast.')
Out in the countryside you will see a little pigeon logo this is where the mini game is all you have to do is enter it and either play or exit as soon as the trophy appears
No Witnesses (You completed a mission without raising alarm.)
Best to do this with the races as they are considered missions
Master of Disguise (You made it through a story mission with your disguise intact.)
“See No Witnesses”
Trick or Treat (You stealth killed a Nazi General while disguised.)
The best way to do this is to cause a distraction so the generals guards move away from him then you can easily sweep in for the kill
High Diver (You jumped from the Eiffel Tower and survived.)
When you climb the Eiffel Tower open your map and you will see a pond next to the tower just jump off and when you fall enough of a distance you will be able to control Sean is hover over to the pond and splash there's your trophy
Vive La Resistance (You inspired your first area of Paris.)
“See Liberator of France”
Not On My Watch (You have saved the French people from a cruel fate.)
When you are in a black and white area of the map just look for Nazi's walking around and follow them, sooner or later they will accuse a civilian of knowing about the resistance when this happens jus t kill the Nazi and a message should appear saying you saved a civilian you need to save 40 so it's best to do this before doing side quests which put colour back on the map.
Well that brings us to the end of the guide I hope by now you have achieved your Platinum or have a better idea of how to. As always if you need any help just post here or message me via PSN my ID is the same as my username here.

January 9, 2010 at 2:09 am #54887parnakasMemberJust a quick question here, do you think this game is worth a rent? And can most of the trophies be accomplished in a 1 week rent?
Great guide man!

It depends on your tolerance for grinding there is over 1500 free play targets that are required for the platinum, but if you don’t intend to go for it you could still get about 80% in a week.
Thanks guys been a while since i posted a guide so if you do play it and i have missed something just hit me up and i’ll help you out.

Same here, one of my friends is one day older than me, he is the 17th May, I am the 18th. He slags me for it but he's like a foot smaller than me so it never lasts long.

I was extremely disappointed with it.. the controls are what killed it for me. The game looked so awesome in previews, i mean highjacking UFOs and vertical combat sounded sweet.. but is a disaster.
Miitch – really sorry man.. didnt mean to go off-topic, my fault. I'm trying to rent this, and i will be using this guide the moment i get it!
