MemberSince my last “TOP 5″ was such a success critically and financially (Top 5 Games You Know Will Be Your Favorites in 2009), I thought that maybe I'd make this a weekly thing until I have nothing to really have a TOP about. Cool? Cool!
This week on TOP 5…
Our contestants will be listing the TOP 5 games they think need to be remade and/or have sequels. We'll start with Tridon:
Hi, I'm Tridon and this is my TOP 5 list of which games I'd like to see make a return…
5) A sequel to “Drakan: The Ancients' Gates” that was on the PS2. If Sony can get Surreal Software to return, this game could be a huge exclusive. Even though “Ancients' Gates” hasn't aged all that well, it's still fun and it was damn impressive at the time it came out.
4) “Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes” on the Playstation Network! I bought a Gamecube just to play this remake and it was super awesome. It was the same great MGS game but with cleaner graphics and retardedly impossible John Woo-type stunts. I'm sure the exclusive Konami had with Nintendo has ran out by now. Bring it to where it belongs, Konami… on the Playstation!
3) “Marvel Vs. Capcom 3″. I know Capcom has said that there's no plans on a third game and that Marvel's licenses are currently tied up but if the upcoming “Marvel Vs. Capcom 2″ on the PSN sells well (which I know it will), a third could be a possibility… and it would be as incredible as the Hulk!
2) Another strike towards Hideo Kojima… make “Zone of the Enders 3″ already! The first two games were amazing and a third must be made! Oh, and exclusive to the PS3!
1) I know it's going to come eventually but I'm really impatient… I don't want but NEED the third game from TEAM ICO!!! “Ico” and “Shadow of the Colossus” were two of the best games I've ever played and a third really needs to come soon. Equipped with the power of the PS3 and incredibly addictive trophies, the third Team ICO game will be the game of the year, easily.
Well, there you have Tridon's opinion. Who will want to take a swing at this list next? Stay tuned…

5) Linger in Shadows, I know its bornig but I liked it.
4)King Kong, the game is not that old but I think there should be King Kong 2 The Movie and The Videogame.
3) Command & Conquer Renegade, I beat that game about 12 times on PC, I dont know why but it was pretty interesting. They should make something similar.
2)Spore, the game is not on the PS3, but sometimes when I get bored I play the game, Its Amaizing, I hope for the sequel or a remake on the PS3 with the graphics. I just love making my own kind of animals or creatures and then evolve them. You kinda understand how it all started.
1)The I of the Dragon, I LOVED that game, it was amaizing, you probably dont know about it but they have a site http://www.i-dragon.com/index_eng.htm where you can download the demo. And as you can see from the site its from 2002-2003. You are a Dragon and you eat any animal you see, you can burn forests or animals, eat their fleash with the blood driping from your mouth!!! Man I loved that game, I really HOPE they make a sequel for the PS3. It would be a dream come true…

Member5) I think we would all want a remake of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for the ps3
4) LBP should definetely get a sequel but i guess it doesn`t need with all the user created maps and dlc coming every week
3)Heavenly Sword could do with a sequel it`s a pretty good game with stunning graphics that kinda got ignored and underrated imo
2) Simpsons Hit and Run, if this got a sequel i would have to buy it 🙂 loved hit and run just for it`s jokes, free roam(ish) maps and the fact it was never serious
1) It`s a tie between Hitman 5 and Driver 5 (both these games should be released by next Feb) these two games are by far my top two `series` of games ( heck i like these more than the CoD series (the ones made by infinity ward which is saying something to me lol))May 12, 2009 at 11:16 pm #25389Ratchet525
MemberMetal Gear Solid Sons of Liberty neads a remake. I hated the camera.
LBP needs a remake. Maybe more players allowed in one match, more minigames, and such.
GTA San Andreas needs a graphic improvment. Everything thing was awesome in that game but if that gets a graphic improvment then maybe itll get the 10 it needs from Ign.
Ratchet Deadlocked needs a remake. Maybe not just doing challenges but allowing to explore the worlds too.
Thats all i can think of right now…ill post a 5th one later.

Member1) Warhawk. I loved this game, and a sequel with improved everything, and maybe some form of single player mode. That would be sick.
2) Any of the PS1 Crash Bandicoots. Better graphics, more gameplay, and trophies.
3) Ratchet: Deadlocked. Everything that Ratchet525 said about it.
4) Shadow of the Colossus.
5) God Of War 1 & 2. Port to ps3, with better graphics (even though they are amazing on ps2), trophy support, etc.

Participantsonic the hedgehog 1, 2, 3 and 4 as one game re-done in HD for PSN.
every sonic fan would buy it.
FFVI, and FFVII should be re-made as either feature psn titles or BD releases.

Did you hear that it's actually being rumoured that the God of War III Collector's Edition will come with the first and second game on a Blu-ray disc? Not sure if they'll be improved at all or include trophies but that's still pretty bad-ass.

Destroy all Humans
Simpsons Hit & Run
& they have to bring sequals to Killzone 2 & Resistance 2 as the story line has been left as a cliff hanger on both of them.
Also i think in 2010 they should try bring out a new Burnout Game…

yea i heard… there was a public vote on the playstation website.
even if they are not improved, i will still get it.
i lost my God Of War 1 & 2……. im so sad

Memberi actually played God of war 2 on my ps3 a little while after it came out. and with the ps2 game upscaler setting turned on.on the ps3. The game looking amazing

MemberAn remake for Jak (could be any of the 4 on PS2), that would be nice.
A sequel to Kingdom Hearts (Kingdom Hearts 3), though SE will surely announce it at E3 (I hope)
A port for Final Fantasy VII or VIII, that would be great.
