I don't know whether it's just because I'm getting old but when I play games these days I feel quite detached rather than absorbed by the storyline. As much as I enjoyed the first two episodes the third ep really provoked a response from me and I genuinely got pissed off by the actions of one of the characters and felt like I had to take some serious action. Kudos to telltale games, it's been a while since I've felt this engaged with a game. Looking forward to ep 4 now

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is shaping up to be GOTY be the looks of this. Not sure if any game has reached the graphical standpoint this has achieved, quite impressed. Hopefully we can see at least a multiplayer horde mode? Wouldn't mind losing myself into competitive MP.

That game looks soooo bad. What a waste of fcuking potential. I don't think I've ever seen zombies that look more like they were made from plastic than the show's licensed action figures!

To be fair, guys, that's a fan trailer of the game using old footage (I dunno how old) of the game that I'm suspecting was never supposed to be released as marketing. I'm pretty sure all of our favorite games have looked like that at some point in development. That's not to say that I think it'll be a good game or that it'll look much better than that, but knowing that that's not current gameplay, I'll wait until I do see a current build before I dismiss it entirely. They're supposed to be releasing a legitimate gameplay trailer soon. Too bad that fan trailer's already colored peoples' opinion of the game.

i dont get people's hate for survival instinct yea its published by activision but there not making it, the new gameplay they just released the graphics were good and getting rooker and reeedus in for the voice acting is a plus. im looking forward to giving it a chance in march.

glad telltales walking dead won GOTY it was just utterly brilliant

Yeah, I actually put the thumbs up but I've noticed that ever since I started doing it, there's no way to factor whether it's a positive or negative thing. Maybe it's me? Who knows….

As for Seibei, I don't know why he's being hated on…

It's a fan made trailer? 'Cause it was shown on one of IGN's Youtube web series with an actual game developer discussing the title…

The video is real gameplay, but it's old gameplay from that old interview. I think it was made for the purpose of that interview, which might explain why there's absolutely no sound or voices other than that boring music. So someone must've taken that footage, slapped that music on it, put the little splash pages on the ends, and now people think that's a legit trailer. I don't think Activision would release a standalone trailer that was that bad. They at least usually try to sell you the game in the trailer. It doesn't sound like Activision to not try and sell you crap.

Since Finch wouldn't keep quiet about this game for a bit of breathing space, I've been playing a bit of this. I'm really liking the characters and Kenny's line about being from Florida got a chuckle out of me and was actually quite true…

Yeah, but not so much more than half the other games that get released these days. They'd be bad if this was a AAA game, but they're ok for a licensed game. Doesn't look like it's gonna be much of a good game though. Anyway, whether or not the graphics are good compared to other games, they're definitely better than they were in the early footage. Don't know if the gameplay's much better though, since this “gameplay” trailer didn't have much of that.
