I just saw the new video for the new dlc and i thnk that its great. Especially happy that they're bringing back overgrown and crash. The new maps look very interesting. Cant wait till it comes out on ps3.
March 26, 2010 at 1:22 pm #60238BigWoopMagazineMemberI think its an incredibly cheap gimmick. First off, I'm really not happy about the prices we've been paying for DLC maps on any game – really it should be 10 maps for $10. Here you get 5, which would be good with respect to the console map pack trend, except two of them are just rehashes of the old maps. The hell is the point of that? I'll just put CoD4 back in and play em for free, thank you. With MW2 striking me as a really expensive map pack in the first place, this reusing of old maps is a retarded ploy to get more cash out of you while doing less work. Thanks for nothing IW.

you realize its not IW who determine the price but activision so yada yada activision is evil (insert rant) but back on topic i'm quite dissapointed at the maps i would have liked some spec op mission and more new maps rather than just three
oh well i know i'll end up buying it anyway
March 26, 2010 at 2:31 pm #60243Antony19MemberI have seen the trailer and the new maps are smaller. So i believe that i will buy it. It gives us smaller maps and i believe that MW2 needs this thing
March 26, 2010 at 4:33 pm #60245Finch_92Memberif i still had mw2 i prob would nt get it 14.99 is a rip off id at least want say 10 spec ops missions as well as the maps for that price
March 26, 2010 at 6:30 pm #60250BigWoopMagazineMemberWell the rip off pricing may be activision, but the decision to rehash old maps due to lazyness and a lack of innovation or creativity I can still blame on IW, right? If I'm wrong again well then FU to whoever deserves it, Cracktivision or whatever.
March 26, 2010 at 7:03 pm #60256The GeneralMemberI honestly think that anyone who shells out $15 for MAPS, should either A: be placed in an asylum, or B: just give the companies free access to ur bank accounts…
Wake up people. It's just going to continue to get worse as long as idiots go out and BUY shit that should've either been included in the final release of the game (all these missing pieces of games being sold later as dlc, seriously, WTF!!!) or for simple f'in map packs that really should be given away free. Stop spending money on bullshit and companies will stop with these practices. Simple as that.
March 26, 2010 at 7:22 pm #60259KnoxieMemberi dont care what people say – im still gonna buy the dlc.
im very happy those 2 maps are coming back and the other 3 look good and btw its my money.
March 26, 2010 at 7:36 pm #60260Antony19MemberAfter reading some post I notice that the most of you are saying that the DLC is going to cost 14.99$. If this is true then i am not going to buy it.

I agree, i'll be getting it the day it comes out. nobody's gonna stop it happening so stop moaning about it, if u dont want it don't get it. At least it isn't EA who release games like tiger woods and then sell you an extra golf course the day it comes out. it's gonna be 6 months since mw2 release, all it does is freshen things up with new maps. the old maps are welcome too. For those who say “i can play those maps for free on cod 4”, GO PLAY COD 4 THEN!!!!!!
March 26, 2010 at 8:00 pm #60262r23drummerMember15 quid is steep, i dont think Trine cost me that much and there was a lot more content in it. I like how EA are doing Bad Company's maps, their free so the fan base isnt split. COD4 got 4 NEW maps for 8 quid, this is betting 3 new maps for 15, its ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** rediculaus.
March 26, 2010 at 8:03 pm #60264tommyflopMemberi think its a tenner. 14.99 us dollars
March 26, 2010 at 9:21 pm #60265Finch_92Member@ tommyflop i think your right its going to be 1200 microsoft points so heres an easy converter for everyone
March 26, 2010 at 10:06 pm #60270monkeymoobsMemberme and my friends share the price between us and we let each other gameshare so if it's £15 i'll only be paying £3
March 26, 2010 at 11:06 pm #60278dizzel22Memberwhat's worng with bringing back 2 old maps (arguably COD 4's 2 best ) i think that's a great idea , it's them only giving you 3 new maps for the price that sucks.
