Absolutely gutted to hear that THQ was cut up and auctioned off today. As a huge Dawn of War fan I was still holding on to a slim hope of them pulling through.

Sega have bought Relic Studios so they'll continue any DoW stuff and also the new Company of Heroes.

Koch Media have taken Volition (Red Faction, Saints Row) and the Metro IP. Its Deep Silver studio will be taking over any further SR and Metro games.

Crytek bought the Homefront IP (They were working on the sequal anyway)

Take-Two picked up Evolve.

Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal and the South Park IP.

To make things even shittier, Vigil Games went unsold so that's Darksiders dead in the water.

Wow, that is actually sad. I'm not a huge fan of THQ's products, but seeing as some of their employees were “fired” and IP's being handed off to shitty studios makes it all the more worse.

Metro might as well be doomed forever and Saints Row will never be able to try and impress me since Deep Shit is taking over.

Y'know the worst part of this all? THQ has released interesting IP's and such with each dev. just struggling to scrap enough cash to call it a paycheck while we have companies who simply release the same shit each and every motherfcuking year with NOTHING new and make more than something trying to get a real story out there. This is fcuking ridiculous. I could be exagerrating, but this is quite sad to see.
