this site only has like 7 guides for getting trophies. whether it's a game that came out a while back but has trophy support or a brand new game with trophies make a guide for the game! we need more guides! i'm gonna make a guide for some older games: uncharted, ski doo snowmobile challenge, sonic's ultimate genesis collection, eat lead, and maybe cod5. somebody make some more guides too!

the guides here have to be made by the people frm this forum. it cannot simply be a guide taken from somewhere else. Therfore, it is much harder to produce trophy guides.

I did used to have an in-depth Uncharted trphy guide, but unfortunately it came to be deleted. I haven't got around to doing it again as I'm not sure I would be able to reproduce what I had exactly.

Originally, I did plan to do more trophy guides as well… but lately, I've been very busy with potential for a new job, my current studies and so on. But who knows, maybe I'll find the time to do the ones I wanted to do.

i hope so. do u mind if i make an uncharted guide then shade? i have come into some spare time this week so i can make a few guides. i do have to disagree with making the trophy guide being difficult. as long as you have the platinum in the game it's easy to make a guide about it. oh and good luck with the job

Cory – I've often thought the same thing, but most of the time I find the information you need to get the trophies is in a general game guide on gamefaqs or some other similar site. Usually as a result, I don't find much need for a guide thats trophy specific… However, what shade is saying is its difficult to make the guides because you can't just go around copy/pasting other peoples info from the general game guides… and have to make them from scratch. Since uncharted has been out so long, and the only part that really needs a guide is finding the treasures, I'd e-mail a treasure guide author for permission to use their info in a trophy guide compilation. Otherwise, in crushing mode theres only one extremely difficult part, and thats when you find the other half of the crashed plane… If you have a sure fire way of getting thru that BS, type that up.

ofcourse i don't mind! lol

The more guides the better!

yeah like Bigwoop said, It's not the making of the guide that's difficult, it's about making the guide from scratch with your own material and info. making it completely original, and in your own words.

If you DO do an Uncharted Guide, I'd like to offer my assistance if that's okay. I previously had an entire website devoted to the 100% completion of the game, and even had the website prepared for the next game as well! I have a rather in-depth knowledge of the game since i loved it so much. So if you do make one, I'm sure I can contrbute towards it. but ultimately it's up to you! 😀

making it from scratch is no problem when you remember just how you got the trophy to begin with. i'll make a guide for it (from scratch!) and i'll use a lot of vids as well as my own descriptions for the treasures. shade i'll be more than glad to have some help so please feel free to contribute and bigwoop quit being such a debbie downer lol. we need an uncharted guide; don't dismiss the idea of it because you think an original guide for an old game can't happen

Trophy Guides RULE! For someone who doesnt have a lot of time finding collectibles, using the guides that people put a lot of time into are much appreciated…thanks

you're welcome! i know in the past i needed a little help with bioshock and i found a great guide that really helped me so i've wanted to give back by making some guides to help others

Dont get me wrong but i think guides are pointless i mean if you need some help on a trophy most ppl on this site just make a thread for help with that certain trophy, and there is loads of ppl willing to help… (My Opinion DONT argue)

i know you're entitled to your opinion. people who aren't members come to this site and sometimes use these guides. before i joined i used one from here. so they're good for some.

i get what you are saying.. but in a thread, you have to wait for someone to reply back, whereas in a guide, the answer is always there.

Cory – Hah, debbie downer, haven't heard that in a while. Yeah, sorry, I wasn't trying to be a downer, just trying to bring up the fact that most of the info is out there on the internet already. And I never said an original guide can't happen, if you wanna put the work into it then kudos to you. I'm also willing to contribute any answers you need as I plat'd it too, and am playing the beta on a regular basis, (however I don't really have time to write a guide unless I stop playing games…). Are you planning on making one for Uncharted 2 when it releases? I could see that being a huge help to people.

Parnakas – yeah you're right. Waiting sucks. luckily when I have a question, someone else has usually already asked and gotten an answer.
