Hey guys, I'm working on a magazine for school, and our basis is all around the PS3. Im writing about PS3 trophy Wanting, Hoarding, Obsessive, and Really Enthusiastic hunters.

So maybe yall could help me out.

Do you get a first opinion on a game based off whether it has trophies or not? No, because it is mandatory to have trophies in a game now so I don't have to think about this.

Have you ever bought a game just for trophies? No, I'm not a whore, just a collector.

*JUST FOR FUN* Do you think it matters whether a game has 50 trophies total or 51 trophies (a platinum) I'm not too sure what you mean because trophies are based on points. A bronze is 5, silver is 10 and gold is 15 or something like that. There is a thread about it somewhere. Terminator salvation for example, that has 11 trophies and a plat and they're all gold. The amout of trophies has a limit of points, and each trophy adds to meet this limit. A game can have any number of trophies within reason. If you are asking if I would like all games to have a plat, then my answer is yes.

How long do you spend playing games every week? varies, between 5 – 15

Do you get a first opinion on a game based off whether it has trophies or not? i prefer to play games with trophy support, so yes i would choose a trophy enabled game over something that might be good but doesnt have them

Have you ever bought a game just for trophies? yes and no, i've bought a PSN game because it was cheap and had them, but the game looked interesting.. never a retail game tho.. unless you count barkie and me going halfsies on Matt Hazard :/

How many have trophy compatibility?: About 30
How long do you spend playing games every week?: Depends but usually anywhere between 20~70 hours per week
Do you get a first opinion on a game based off whether it has trophies or not?: Nope
Have you ever bought a game just for trophies?: Nope i’m a gamer so trophies hold no value to me, i buy games that i like and also the occasional one to play with the missus.
*JUST FOR FUN* Do you think it matters whether a game has 50 trophies total or 51 trophies (a platinum): Well pretty much every retail game has to have a platinum and most of them have less then 50 or 51 trophies.
