IW and treyarch charged reasonable £8's for the map packs. (not talking about the mw2 game itself)
and yeah im happy naughty dog isnt activision, and theres like 2 maps and skins in this dlc? much rather have 4 MP maps any day.

This is exactly what naughty dog said with regards to these trophies. They wanted to make sure that the platinum was obtainable for everybody, but now that its been out a while, they wanted to give trophies to people who are still enjoying the online and really want to earn something. Smart move.
@knoxie – I wouldn't be able to help it either knocking on IW and Treyarch. CoD4 map pack – $10, 4 maps – but only 3 of the maps got cycled online? bullshit. Thats $3 a map, as far as I'm concerned. Treyarch map packs, same thing, except one of them is a zombies map instead of uncycled on the network. A slightly better deal, but the shitty part is when you don't buy them and hop online. Instead of having a seperate playlist for people who don't have the packs, you have to constantly join games, only to be booted when they start because you don't have the map. That gimmick is a hot bar of shit up the goat ass right there. Naughty Dog – $4 for 2 maps. Wow, its cheaper than all of them! Whats that you say? no? its $6? Not true! Its $6 for the maps AND the skins. I'll give them extra credit too, since we already got a map for free! Funny thing is, I just proved my point without even talking about the quality of the maps. Also, for the record, I think all map packs are bullshit so far. This is the best deal yet on PS3, but I still remember the days of PC gaming where a map pack was a PACK, not just 4 maps but like 8-12, or an actual full on MP add – on, or something that really made your $10-15 worth while. Now you get squat, cause all the devs are just trying to suck more money out of us.

You can get everything in one bundle for $5.99 or the skins for $2.99 and the maps for $3.99.

MemberOkay Ratchet you prefer Uncharted 2 as opposed to Modern Warfare 2 and knoxie you prefer Modern Warfare 2 as opposed to Uncharted 2 which is good and all but every thread where something is mentioned about one of these games one of you post something which you know is going to get a reaction out of the other so can you guys drop it once and for all. MemberDoc, an argument like this will never end. Especially with Knoxie is involved. He won't back down. He'll defend COD 'til he's dead. You need to get over it Knoxie; MW2 is not perfect. By all means, have an opinion about they game. Hell, it can even be your favourite game ever if you want, but you need to accept that IW did not make a perfect game. I remember you saying that to me once last year. You can deny it all you want, but I remember. It's not only lag and hacks and glitches that spoil the game, offline has flaws. I could go into detail but I really don't need to. And 50 quid for a game? 50 Great British Pounds? And then they expect us to pay more for a couple of multiplayer maps that could potentially be duds? It's all getting too much. But I'll still pay it because I want to play these games. You have to admit Knox that IW will make us pay more for less quantity and/or quality products. It's how it works now, COD has gone far enough money wise. Bring me something new and I'll be happy to pay a tenner for some DLC. But it's all the same; maps, maps and more maps. COD is just a cash cow now, and the two awesome devs are going to milk it dry.

I think the plus sign simply means that they are add-ons and that you need to buy the DLC to unlock them.
+=add get it?

That makes sense. I wish some other games would do that actually, if thats the case – for example – LBP. The new water add – on is playable without buying it, as long as a friend who owns it hosts the game, but you still can't earn the trophies. Not a big deal, but its nice to have clarification.

thats true. I was surprised the arena ones were still orange actually – I assume the zombie Island ones were just to stick with the holloween theme.

MemberOne of the semi-recent PS3 software updates allowed developers to group the trophies by main game/add-on, so if you go into the trophy list for Uncharted 2 and hit Triangle, then Square, it'll give you two seperate progress bars for your trophies, one for Main Game or Core Game and one for Add-on Content or DLC. The older games don't do it cause that was before the support was implemented and I guess they either can't or don't feel like updating it.
Edit: You can see it in Army of Two: The 40th Day as well, even though they don't have any DLC yet.
