Uncharted Movie Under Development
Hitman 2, Kane & Lynch writer will handle the script.
With anticipation for the upcoming Uncharted 2 steadily growing, it appears that Nathan Drake has become popular enough to try and cross over. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will be joining Gears of War, BioShock, Lost Planet and others on the big screen.
Columbia Studios will be handling the production of the film, with no fewer than four people — Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad, and Alex Gartner — serving as producers. The script will be handled by Kyle Ward, who according to imdb.com is also involved with the Kane & Lynch and Hitman 2 films.
As for the producers, Ari Arad was the executive producer for Iron Man, and is involved in Lost Planet, while Avi Arad produced all of the Spiderman films. Roven produced both of the new Batman films, and Gartner is currently working on God of War.
The movie is expected to hew closely to the game's story, which pitted Nathan Drake against a rival hunter and a variety of creatures in the search for El Dorado. It was arguably the best PlayStation 3 exclusive title of 2007, earning an A- in our review.
Wonder who they'll get to play Drake?

Who's the actor set to play Nathan?
No-ones been cast as Drake yet, but if you check the link below you'll find APT's members suggestions for the role

keep in mind that they used mo-cap on all the voice actors, so we really have their facial expressions… and they all look pretty good. I don't see why he should be limited from the screen, he kinda looks like Drake any way

They act out the scenes so it shouldn't be such a leap. I think the girl who voice actors Elena looks *very* much like the character.
