Agreed. Last time he did this one, she began to slow down before he crossed the line, so Yeah if he keeps up his full pace, he'll get the WR again. I mean he has the WR for 100, 200 and 400 anyway 😛 I think he can beat it again.

He doesn't have WR for 400 yet. Michael Johnson still holds that one.
He does co-hold the 4×100 though.

Don't think the 400m record will come as easily, but he's certainly got the ability to do it. I hope he doesn't though. Michael Johnson was my sporting hero growing up.
August 20, 2009 at 6:50 pm #38933iiDiNkStErRMemberIt's not just usain bolt these days though, Jamaica are absolutely dominating the track events these days. I reckon bolt will get the WR in 19.23

I think he'll be the first person to go under 19 seconds, just don't think he'll do it today (probably tempting fate with that comment )

August 21, 2009 at 12:56 am #39094parnakasMemberholy crap.. 19.19 seconds?Â
i just pissed a little.Â
August 21, 2009 at 1:19 am #39118iiDiNkStErRMemberunder a second every 10m. the best thing of all tho is that he said he was tired LOL he usually runs another 400m in joy but the lad was puffed out this time
Another quality moment was when someone won their race they got a piggy back from the mascot & he ran straight into a metal thing & fell right over  good stuff lol

Yeah that was the truck used to pick up hurdles. Â That'll be on Question of Sport soon enough!!
Bolt will go under 19 secs soon enough. Technically he's not perfect and he based his training around the 100m not 200m.
If he doesn't double up at the next championships and only goes for 200m sub-19 will be in the bag.
