IMO, anyone who spends all their time in front of a screen are sad. And alot of sites like facebook, myspace etc are great for keeping in touch with family and friends. I use facebook daily, and I don't consider my life sad at all.

i still think Facebook should die.

There is a lot of idiots who put up personal info on themselves, and then add random people. Those guys are idiots.

I just never got the point of it.

the original point of facebook was to create a profile and help track down old friends and have a little fun… now it's a full blown social networking site for just about anything.

it's mainly crap, but i still have a facebook account because it helps me see what my friends are up to. actually it's great for people like me who isn't able to get out that much. I can see what they're up to by logging on to site, all the while not looking to suspicious about trying to find out what everyone is doing. haha!

What i think PS3 Freak is saying is that people who spend all their time on Facebook, myspace, etc… have no life because they are glued to the screen, never going anywhere, not getting out, not having fun with friends.

Yes, you can say the same thing about ps3. its exactly the same thing. If you all you do ALL day EVERYDAY is go on ps3, then it is the exact same thing. Even if your real-life friends are on it, if you are glued to your screen, you cant really socialize with them, go out, have fun. Although you can have virtual fun on PS3, i still think being glued to ANY screen 24/7 is stupid.

yh what parnakes said is what i ment, i mean there is no games on facebook etc but on the Ps3 there is… so it is and it isnt the same…

What ever people choose to do with their lives is their own business. I think being critical of how others spend their time is 'sad'

oh ya.. and you think facebook is getting out of hand. Have you heard of Twitter? people are posting quick updates on that 24/7. If I wanted I could get up to the SECOND fight results for every UFC event.

Personally i like to 'disconnect'. The only reason I have a cell phone is for work. (work bought it for me :). If i'm going out for lunch/dinner or to the beach i leave all that stuff at home.

ps. I do think its pretty rediculous when I see two people having lunch together and they are both texting away or talking away on their cell phones. I see this quite often now.

yea cellphones are hell..

i have one, but i only use like 20 minutes a month.

But im paying for a lot more, and i am paying for unlimited text messages.. even though i have only texted twice in my life.

wow this one got way off topic…. hah, as usual… facebook was good when it was just a college community, thats how it started, and thats how it should have stayed. When you have friends graduate and then spread out all over the world every year, its a great way to stay in touch with them… since most people meet a lot of people in college. Since I graduated tho, I hardly use it, except to find one of those people, and primarily because of how out of hand it has gotten, with so many useless and pointless apps on it, etc.

Back on topic, and yeah I asked this earlier too, but hey, is it coming out for the US? Or is it out and I missed it? I don't see it in the PSN store, and I'd like to give it a try. I have too much music to put it all on my system, I'd fill the thing instantly, but I don't have a stereo so its nice to play music thru my TV.

I can't be asked with a mobile phone. I just spend my money on MP3 players (120GB iPod is wayy better than a mobile phone)

i agree.. my iPod Touch is 1000000 times better than any cell phone i have had.

And yes i have only texted twice.

I use a phone for what its made for. CALLING PEOPLE!!!!
