MemberWell my E3 this year can be summed up by the fact i almost pre-ordered a X-Box 360 'S' Version…
Not good!! Sony better their sh!t out soon…
I don't care what the fanboy's think but Microsoft brought the goods at this years E3, listening to what people want…
I don't have time to play two consoles… I don't even play my Ps3 as much, and with all my mates already on x-box and the reasons to switch are mounting up. I still feel that I'm in the same place as i was when i started with my Ps3 3 years ago… Why are Sony looking towards 3D when they can't even get simple chat settings sorted.
TBH the only thing making me stick with Sony for the time being is the time, money and effort I've put into Ps3… And the people I've met… Sony need to get back to basics and sort their service out. This new X-Box 'S' is very, very appealing to people frustrated with the PSN!

MemberYou know Doc, I am so tempted to go out and get an Xbox 360 slim, or whatever the official name is. PSN is all fine and dandy and I have no problems with the way it is, but if they don't make it a whole lot better, they'll never compete with XBL.
I want to rant at Ninty too. I was a Ninty fanboy for years. They were my first console, bar my fathers Megadrive. I loved them to bits and they bought me years of enjoyment over many consoles and series. But the wii came along and, although technologically brilliant, got worn out in my house. I loved it, but the games were…stale.
Now, what they need to win me back is to stop trying to be first at everything. For example, the 3DS. They haven't even made a bloody HD console, and they're going 3D? What?! Yeah, it's only a handheld, but it's bloody ridiculous. I want Zelda in HD(A series that HASN'T become stale for me.), a Super Mario in HD (Although this has died a little now with the POINTLESS Galaxy 2) and Mario Kart in HD. And while you're at it, remake Wind Waker in HD. It has to be done. And also, what they need, is a real controller, none of this motion control. The console needs an online system comparable to PSN as it is now, and real online games too. Like, COD and such.
Do it Ninty. Win me back, please?

Galaxy 2 was pointless? How so?
I know Nintendo's “casual gaming” is ridiculous, but if you ask me, some titles are really amazing.
I'll probably buy the new X360 (some call it Xbox360 Ultimate, I dont know if that's official) because of some exclusive games that I REALLY wanto to buy… and because of Kinect (PS Move is not enough
).
By the way, ever since the Playstation, Nintendo has been the underdog for years. Wii was really something back then but now it's not because of Kinect and Move. But I really believe 3DS will be amazing.
IMO, Nintendo had the best press conference on E3.

Yeah Nintendo did win. Sonys was ok but they were just montage from montage and thing i don't really care about like the Marcus PSP ad, but Kevin Butlers appearance was epic. Microsofts however was just crappy and boring.

MemberWell, tbh, I thought every developers conference was boring:
Microsoft announced a 360 Slim (about time…) and focused on that Kinetic crap, that I still don't buy into. I just think that the Kinetic stuff will be great for casual games, but I don't see any hardcore games going well with that thing. However, back to the 360 slim: Finally. The old 360 was louder than 2 virgins going at it for the first time! Still disappointed that they haven't announced an XBL free membership thing, like PSN. They should let you just be able to play games online, with some basic features, and make it free, as oppose to $60 a freaking year.
Sony was pretty meh. Nothing that really shocked me, although KZ3 looks simply amazing, and is definitely my favorite game of E3! I don't understand why Sony is so involved with this 3D gaming thing, no one is buying into just yet, I mean the tech is brand new, they should have waited a while before they threw all their marbles at the 3D gaming thing. Also, the PS Move looked ok, but again, I would rather play a game with my Dualshock, than 2 sticks with glowing balls at the end of them. I pray that Sony doesn't force us to buy the damn thing, by making games that ONLY work with the Move..
Nintendo was yet again another failure imo. I don't see Nintendo ever returning to what it once was. I mean, give Mario a break, and start making some more serious games, or at least some NEW games. Goldeneye was announced for Wii, but tbh, is probably going to be a fail. Goldeneye was great at its time, but to release it again now? Come on. And I doubt Nintendo will add anything new to it, and probably force it to be played with the Wii-Mote, which means terrible controls.
I personally hate this new “motion-controller” scheme every company is buying into. Its all a big gimmick. And my proof is the Wii. That thing is fun for 5 minutes, then what happens? It gets kicked to the curb like a used condom. I'm sure all these new motion-controlling schemes will be fun for a week, maybe two weeks, but then they will just die out, and be a huge waste of money.
Classic Controller FTW!!!!!!!!!

If you only last five minutes before having to throw away the condom then maybe you should look into some “holding” techniques.
