That was going well until Semper fi or Die. You're paired up with a squad of marines and you have to keep the whole lot alive. They got utterly pasted on Supersoldier so I was hoping to have better luck on Recruit.

Not so much… Every time I turn my back a Ceph lands on one of them and hacks the guy to bits. The level is so jumbled it's impossible to mind them all at once and even taking on the Ceph head-on to attract them all I'm losing guys. If anyone has a method or tactics that they found worked for them then fire it my way!

So I fanally managed to get this. It turns out you only need to keep them alive for the first two waves of enemies. Once you make it inside the building where they stop and let you go ahead the trophy should unlock.

I also picked up the Stealth Assassin trophy. It's for re-routing the power in “Eye of the Storm” without being detected. For anyone trying to get this, the first time I went for it I stealth killed a couple of guys and even though their bodies weren't found (no alert) I didn't get the trophy. The second time I ignored everyone and just used cloak to walk past them and it worked.

So I completed MK Arcade with Noob (Med) and did a couple more matches in story mode… I also invited a couple of my friends over for some local MP  and what a laugh it was…

Even though they hardly knew the buttons my mate Vander was still giving me trouble with a button bashing Lia Kang  and my other friend Jamie who just makes me laugh with the sh!t excuses he comes away with  

The 'Test Your luck' V's mode can be pretty funny… and give players that are not so good the odd chance to win via fluke  And some of the 'modes' are pretty funny… Narcolepsy is good 😀

Getting wasted and playing MK with my mates… Like 16years just vanished  Awesome…

Was playing NBA Jam, but they've done an incredible job of sucking all the fun out of the game so it'll be going back tomorrow. Thank God for online rental!!!

Shao Khan really pissed me off at the end, it took me like an hour to beat him
 and a’m gonna do the same, do some of the challenge tower. I have a question for u, how did u feel when u beat him? I was so happy, words cannot describe it

What I felt was shame. After getting my ass handed to me for an hour and a half I just changed the difficulty to beginner. I played the entire thing on medium just for a victory that didn’t seem “real” lol

I've floated through a few things since I posted here. I can't seem to stick with full retail games at the minute so it's mostly PSN stuff.

Grinding away at Duels of the Planeswalkers to unlock all the cards seems to be the main focus, but I'm getting drawn back to shooters liks Super Stardust HD and Astro Tripper as well. 

I tried getting back into Two Worlds II again but it's just as bad as I remembered. And Motorstorm: Apocalypse has been a huge disappointment for me. I honestly think it doesn't have a patch on Pacific Rift. The tracks just feel like messy obstacle courses and the actual racing seems to be an afterthought. The attempt at a story is just dire with both the characters and art style being muck. Probably going to be my biggest disappointment of 2011

All is not lost though, despite the MK9 Kraze that's affecting almost everyone I've gone back to Tekken 6 and while the completion of Demon Train still eludes me, I managed to rope in the indomitable Mojo to help me against Nancy MI847J and finally got the 'Machine Crusher' trophy.
