If I can get a new PS3 before then, I'll be alright. God damn it, Sony! What is the outage for anyway?
August 18, 2011 at 1:42 am #70465I773D33MABL3MemberStill chipping awat at Crysis 2. Up to rank 24 now. Finally got a win in Instant Action (deathmatch) as well! I came across a group of lads trying to boost something and they were all huddled in a group so I grenaded them twice and got six kills both times!! Also netted myself a stack of skill kills as well!
They all fcuked off in anger and it just left me and two other lads and I had a twelve kill headstart!
August 23, 2011 at 12:21 am #70522emdeepeeMemberResident Evil 2!!!
My ex-wife dumped a load of my shit outside my house today. So I've now got Resi 2&3, Dino Crisis 1&2, MGS1 and Wu-Tang: Taste the Pain.
Back to the classics baby!!
August 23, 2011 at 12:24 am #70523I773D33MABL3MemberDino Crisis 1 & 2 are unreal! I still have my copies as well.

Yeah two of my favourites from PS1.
Trying to get used to the controls again. Forgotten what a luxury analog sticks are (and how much fun it is looking for green herbs )
August 24, 2011 at 2:38 am #70529HardAndSloppyMemberI have been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and I have to say it is pretty craptastic. It is nothing like any of the reviews depict it. They praise it for its graphics, which are pretty crap and bland, and how you can choose whether or not u want to sneak or run in guns blazing. You CANNOt run in guns blazing you just get killed, like crysis. I'm not very impressed by it
August 25, 2011 at 4:23 am #70535HardAndSloppyMemberIt gets a little better as you go along, once you get the shotgun u can run and gun a little better, but you still need to be very tactile. The beginning i found was very slow, but it began to pick up eventually. I think I'm nearing the end, so I'll post again once I have beat it
August 25, 2011 at 12:42 pm #70536I773D33MABL3MemberWell the grind continues in Crysis. I haven't spent too much time on it this week but I'm up to level 28 and the goal for the end of the day is to hit 30.
Breaking things up by spending time on Kill Team. One of the better PSN games I've played recently and actually a decent warm-up to the upcoming Space Marine.
August 25, 2011 at 1:44 pm #70537Doc-BMemberJust started playing Deus Ex myself… The game graphics are pretty standard, but i do think the cut-scenes are pretty slick… The intro cut-scene when your body is getting the augmentations is quality!
I've hardly played it other than the first couple of missions but i'm liking it so far… I prefer story driven games rather than just 'shooting everything that moves' going from point A to B. Admittedly it took me ages just to get passed the first mission because i was determined to do it with no alarms… The extra XP helps also
The C.A.S.I.E implant is pretty cool… Paid for itself within about 5min, bagging me two trophies
The game didn't excite me straight away like ME2 did, but i've not even touched the sides yet… I'm guessing there's a NG+ option… Hope so anyway

Have to admit the grind beat me around level 18
Waiting for Deus Ex now, hopefully be here tomorrow

I enjoy story driven stories as well, but what i read about it was pretty mis leading. It picks up after a bit. I actually did the same thing as you, the first couple of missions I tried to sneak, but after a while it gets really hard to, so the people just took a shotgun to the face
August 25, 2011 at 9:35 pm #70541HardAndSloppyMemberDeus Ex was pretty good though. It was a nice change from all of the cut and paste games of nowadays, but the reviews i read were a little misleading, which kind of threw me off. But, I enjoyed it in the end, and thats all that matters
August 25, 2011 at 10:57 pm #70542I773D33MABL3MemberHit my rank 30 anyways. Also got 'The Cleaner' trophy for getting all the skill kills which I was delighted with.
August 26, 2011 at 7:17 pm #70546Doc-BMemberBang-fuc£!ng-Tidy!!
Got my T.v back from the repairists, , today… Don't get me wrong, it's not a top-of-the-range-all-singing-all-dancing job, but the screen is about the same size as the whole front of the 'courtesy T.v' I've been using… Gotta love a decent warranty And it's been away for about 2 month, wtf?
It's gonna break my heart, metaphorically, to do it… but i'm gonna have to start killing people and actually get through a bit of Deus Ex I'm taking far to long, and boring the shit out of everyone who visits trying to be a non-leathal super Ninja…
@HardAndSloppy – There's a NG+ option… Right?
