Picked up Mafia 2 platinum edition, including all DLC for less than what the DLC would have cost from PSN, so gonna mop up a few trophies
May 19, 2012 at 12:01 am #71777scotty243MemberLucky! Before I bought the game I was looking all over for that edition and none were availible!
Anyways rented Max Payne 3 and hopefully it's as good as it looks. A few friends and I were debating whether this was going to be worth playing or not and I guess I'll find out first since they'll be playing Ultra on PC. Might try out the MP but I'm really interested to see what happens to Max in this installment.
May 21, 2012 at 11:39 pm #71787emdeepeeMemberSpent most of the day on Saints Row. Got most of the pre-DLC trophies now, but the taunt gang members one seems to be eluding me.
So far I haven't managed to taunt a single one of them!!
May 22, 2012 at 3:20 am #71791scotty243MemberI don't really anything to play at the moment… slowly losing interest for some reason. Going to be jumping from one game to another, I guess.
May 22, 2012 at 8:21 pm #71797I773D33MABL3MemberApart from some levelling in Resonance of Fate, I've been quiet on the Playstation front. But my Diablo III arrived today (Collector's edition of course) and I spent the morning on that. It's been ages since I played a proper dungeon crawler so I'm looking forward to something new.
And I must say, while WoW is a blight on gaming, Blizzard's standards are pretty sweet. Both D3 ans Starcraft II before it have been polished beauties.
May 23, 2012 at 12:52 pm #71821zezima007Membermortal kombat on psvita, fifa street on ps3, also dark souls for the longest time, that game is so hard i think xD im slowly leveling in that
May 25, 2012 at 2:07 am #71838I773D33MABL3MemberMojo has been gearing up for the 'Four Nations' tournament in BF3 so he's been an absentee co-op partner lately. But I managed to drag him over today and we got a good few hours into our second playthrough on Dead Island.
I'd forgotten what a shitpile that game was. We had over a dozen console freezes between us, retarded lag (on LAN…), enemies teleporting through walls (one that we needed to kill for a story mission…). After one cut-scene I spawned under a truck and was killed instantly and the hit-boxes for enemies seem to be decided on the role of a dice.
We're about halfway through Act II and so far we've only found one Exceptional Weapon between us so we could actually be staring down the barrel of a full second playthrough as we need another four…
Allthough I think it's going to be a week of shit games. Myself and gr8jrfan have decided to go for the Resistance 2 plat and I tried a bit of the SP to get back into it. Holy crap but whatever idiot decided that both run and crouch should work off the same button deserves death! You wouldn't mind if every other button was used up but in the control mapping there's actually a slot left empty!!
May 28, 2012 at 6:14 pm #71839scotty243MemberBeen playing Infamous (Evil playthrough), PAYDAY, and Dead Nation Co-Op and it's been pretty fun.

Might have to hit you up for some co-op on Dead Nation as I'm pretty shite at it
May 28, 2012 at 9:04 pm #71843Doc-BMemberPlayed Max Payne 3 MP to much, needed a break from it… Played a bit of Jak II and remembered it wasn't the greatest… Started Dragon's Dogma and jeez there's a lot of running back and forth… It's an ok mish-mash of games and styles… No quick travel = Grindish
Wondering if i'll ever really get to play any of the games i've bought and not played yet, some pretty are old now

Message me if you want to play the co-op. I'm in a playthrough with gr8jrfan but once I'm done with that I need to grind out those Zombie kills so I don't mind a few more playthroughs.

Will do. My copy of Max Payne finally turned up a week late and now I've lost all interest in playing it to the point where I've actually gone back to NFS: Hot Pursuit!!
May 29, 2012 at 8:15 pm #71851gr8jrfanMemberI've got a lot to play recently, and over half with you fine gentlemen and ladies from this site 🙂 I've been playing Dead Nation with scotty. We're both pretty average at it. He's been carrying me through the checkpoints for a change, a definite improvement from the last time we've played a game together. Our time over target always makes me laugh my ass off, though, sometimes full hours over! Maybe starting on Grim was a bad idea…. Every now and then I also play a game of PAYDAY with him and khaoschick and we kick ass at it, had some stupid trophy problems though. Eventually, I'll get around to Resistance 2 with 1773, I'm going to help him with the empty coop and then boost the Killing Machine grind. Alone, I've been playing the SHIT out of Max Payne 3. I'm on Chapter 7 NYM, and I've already done Hard, Hardcore, Old School, and a little MP. I'm gonna start New York Hardcore this week. My confidence has boosted since I last made a post about it but every time I highlight the mode in the main menu, it's similar to the feeling of looking over a skyscraper before you're about to jump.

I'm not even gonna entertain the idea of attempting this. Haven't even got to the end of Chapter 3 yet (on medium) and I must have died well over a hundred times
