I know where you're talking about now. I'm a good bit further than that. I haven't found any of those stand alone puzzles too hard but there's been plenty of sections where I've been standing in the middle of an area without a fcuking clue where to go next. There's at least two puzzles I've passed without even slightly understanding what I was doing!
September 14, 2012 at 4:54 pm #72317emdeepeeMemberAfter making a slight dent in my backlog I've now got Sleeping Dogs to start!!!
September 14, 2012 at 5:11 pm #72319I773D33MABL3MemberFinished Machinarium earlier and now plugging away at multiple RPGs.

Think I'm royally fcuked then. The odds of randomly turning knobs to get the combo seems slim
September 17, 2012 at 1:44 am #72327HardAndSloppyMemberBorderlands on tuesday. Should be great
September 18, 2012 at 12:42 am #72329I773D33MABL3MemberAfter a weekend of RPG madness (a really slow, grindy madness punctuated by levelling up) I took a night off to watch the football.
September 19, 2012 at 8:59 am #72330emdeepeeMemberBeen indulging in a bit of Sleeping Dogs. Been really enjoying it and would say its probably my favourite game of the year so far. Not because it's technically accomplished or that it's ground breaking etc etc but just because it's fun.
September 20, 2012 at 2:32 am #72332scotty243MemberNeed a few more stunts for Infamous and the powers… It's actually been a pretty fun ride and will hopefully have PAYDAY to finish up soon? Or perhaps I'll finish off Metal Gear Solid 4? Hm…
September 22, 2012 at 3:04 am #72341I773D33MABL3MemberAnother day spent grinding in RoF. Although I've the first chunk of it done. All three of my characters are level 100 with machine guns so now I can just progress with the story until I need to go back to the arena and boost hand guns and grenades.
September 22, 2012 at 8:59 pm #72343HardAndSloppyMemberBeen playing some borderlands 2, pretty good. I'm sick though, so I can't enjoy it as much as I should
September 22, 2012 at 11:16 pm #72344I773D33MABL3MemberSpent most of today tackling Tekken Tag 2. The trophy list isn't too bad but there's a couple of grinds in there that'll piss me off. And I got abused online altogether!
The ten wins in survival has been wrecking my head (which is balls as I got it in T6 and TTHD no bother). And the 'Great' combo is proving beyond me. I don't know if my timing is off or I'm just using the wrong moves.
September 23, 2012 at 9:25 pm #72346scotty243MemberPopped back in MGS4 this weekend and finished up the no kills playthrough. I thought I'd only have 2 Emblems but have 4/40 in the game. Currently on the Chicken Emblem playthrough and once I'm done, I should have around 20+/40 emblems. Afterwards, I'll go for the others before going for the Big Boss related emblems…
Tried finishing up Infamous but the damn stunts are annoying as shit!! So I'll let that rest for a few months as I've to do 2 more playthroughs now!! Better late than never…
September 23, 2012 at 10:37 pm #72347I773D33MABL3MemberPlenty of football on today so not too much gaming. I tried my hand at Tekken again but after having to resist the urge to snap the disc in two I switched to Resonance of Fate. Not that it went much better. I yawned through another few ranks in the arena before getting my ass handed to me in what could only be described as 'Difficulty Spike: Defined'.
September 24, 2012 at 2:49 am #72349gr8jrfanMemberI've been playing Borderlands 2 with a multitude of friends and trophy hunters alike. Apparently there's a new Crawmerax-esque boss named Terraphormus, and supposedly, even if you bring four level 50 characters, you'll still have difficulty dropping the bitch. So yeah… Gear up, Vault Hunters!!
Also, I grabbed the American unit of the Coalition to buff our zombie expertise in preparation of Black Ops 2. We both have the World at War 100%s now and it was fcuking balls! This game's zombie mode was the stripped down, cool perkless, small clusterfcuk one that made a few of the Black Ops easter eggs look like childs play! Imagine surviving twenty waves of pure zombie ferocity without buying a single perk! That means your gun will reload twice as long, you will not be able to revive your comrades in the later rounds, run fast, use MGs effectively, hold more than two guns, and worst of all, you can only take two hits!! The last perk mentioned is by far the most essential. I can't even begin to tell you how many times my hide was saved by having a three hit limit. Here's the thing: They can hit you twice! The “double swipe”, as I call it, is almost as notorious as getting caught on the scenery when the horde is hot on your tail. Both of these ended the monotonously long matches a frequent amount of times for some serious (and hilarious) rage from me and my friend.
Lastly, Off the Record is coming to a close as I finish my last sixty laps of the Strips in the chainsaw bike!
September 25, 2012 at 9:37 pm #72354scotty243MemberBeen leaving the PS3 for the Chicken Emblem and some of the other time related ones aswell. Almost have 10/35 hrs. in the first act alone, so I should be good with the other kill ones, etc. Probably just going to grind out the time (if that makes sense?) in Act 1 before moving on to the others… Afterwards, I'll need a few more playthroughs for the BIG BADASS Emblem .
