Finally beat that poxy Survival trophy in Tekken Tag 2 then spent the morning grinding out ghost battles to rank up.
The evening was devoted to Resonance of Fate but I cuoldn't bring myself to do any more of the arena so I completed a good portion of the story instead. Just on to chapter 12 and so far I've everything tidied up (except the bastard arena) so if I continue like this I'll only have to speed-run my second playthrough for a single trophy.
September 29, 2012 at 8:29 am #72380emdeepeeMemberDusted off WRC2 in an effort to finish up the single player trophies. Also managed to get a couple of trophies from Outrun Online which (according to gamercards.net) have taken me 3 years, 5 months and 8 days to achieve
Had one last crack at Comix Zone. What a fcuking awful game this is. Given up on it now and consigned it to permanent deletion
September 29, 2012 at 6:50 pm #72385gr8jrfanMemberWhen my friend isn't around to play Borderlands 2, I go on to ACR multiplayer and I'm reminded why I had to take a break from it. The leveling process isn't going as smooth as before (which was as sandpaper) but for the same reason. People abuse the powers and wait at the flag capture all cheap-like. If that wasn't bad enough, I had to head into the “Play Now” category just to find someone on there and I found fifty fcuking people online. That's embarrassing. I'll never be able to complete the DLC maps in public as whenever they are presented for after game voting, they always vote against it! The people left are all prestige level whatever and I'm seeing the same people and their cheap tactics every friggin' match. I didn't even know this game had a prestige system; How long have these people been playing this game?! The lowest level guy I saw was 38!!
September 30, 2012 at 12:49 am #72387scotty243MemberBeen chipping away at PAYDAY: The Heist and got done with a few of the heists on OVERKILL. So, now I have 4/6 of them done and have another friend coming along to help with the rest of the gold trophies with me. I'll have to reset my rank for the Noob Herder trophy and then have to GRIND my way to a $1 billion , and I'm at $500 million! But whatever, I won't have to rely on other people to help with it and can slowly pad it out for a few months.
Purchased Starhawk Multi-Player from PSN and downloading it right now. I've seen a few trailers of it and it looks impressive. I'm not really scared of the list either since it's just time consuming. Hopefully it's good and I'm definitely not going to grind the trophies, a nice pace of a few months is good and when I'm fully done with the MP trophies (and the MP in general) I'll then purchase the SP for a hopefully good story and a plat!

I tried the Starhawk demo and it didn't really do it for me. Did you ever play the previous version Warhawk?

I played the demo of Warhawk but not the full thing. Hell, I don't even remember much about Warhawk either. Everyone on my friends list has played Warhawk but me. I'm fairly enjoying Starhawk and it's really fun. I'm utterly shocked on how some people aren't even playing it due to it's list, it's well worth the time and pretty intense when you're in a game trying to capture a flag or trying to stay alive in the skys or just in general! $19.99 is a fair price and wish it was just $14.99 but with the amount of enjoyment I've gotten out of it, I'm think I'll be hooked for awhile!

October 10, 2012 at 11:29 pm #72400I773D33MABL3MemberI needed a break from grinding so I've been tackling Deus Ex again. I love the game but it's bloody stressful. Trying for everything in the one playthrough really demands a crazy attention to detail and planning for every move.
October 10, 2012 at 11:48 pm #72401emdeepeeMemberGot a bit of a bargain by picking up Joe Danger 1&2 for less than the second one costs on its own!!!
Also been enjoying a bit of a PS2 renaissance finishing off Beyond Good & Evil (one of the best games on PS2 and easily one of the most underrated) along with a bit of Pandora Tomorrow, which is so much more enjoyable than the first Splinter Cell.
October 11, 2012 at 3:49 am #72402HardAndSloppyMemberI got Dishonored on tuesday, so I've been playing that. I like it much more than Deus Ex

Impressions? It's reviewing really well.
October 12, 2012 at 2:32 am #72406gr8jrfanMemberWell now that I've had my fun, I now have to wait another evil month for the next one. What's worse is that they didn't have a “Next Time On” 🙁 Oh well… Has anyone here got Resident Evil 6? It's not as bad as the bitchy critics are making it out to be. I think they're doing as much for the fans that they can do while still keeping it the direction the way they want to take it. All the campaigns are decent but Jake and Sherry's is absolutely outstanding. I recommend the game, actually. The co-op is a blast and the story is probably one of the best, if not THE best of the RE series. The gameplay is more about haymakering infected foreigners rather than ink quills and scares but the game is actually trying. It has a few puzzles, especially in Ada's campaign, the supposed “classic style” campaign, and it has actual zombies this time around. People like to bitch about the QTEs but they're really not bad enough to warrant, say a 3/10. Some are annoying but is it “THE DOWNFALL OF THE RE SERIES! REBOOT IT, CAPCOM” ? Absolutely not. People also bitched about DLC but that basically was Mercenaries content and the option to do Ada's campaign in coop and not only after all 3 campaigns are beaten. This DLC is also free. Like whaaat??
October 13, 2012 at 3:14 pm #72409scotty243MemberHaven't been feeling too well with all the weather and shit so I've been on & off the PS3 randomly, either watching films or leaving it on for MGS4.
Left MGS4 on the other day and managed to get up to 28 hrs out of the 35 required for the Chicken Emblem in Act 2 alone, so I think I'm good enough to go ahead and play through the game. Hoping to finish this up soon though…
Haven't got much Starhawk done this week but last night I managed to squeeze out 3-4 matches before it got too much for me. Been playing Capture the Flag exclusively and haven't tried the other game modes yet because the game doesn't seperate your wins from each other and calculates it as,”Wins – 34″ and not like, “CTF Wins – 34” and so on… Hopefully I can managed to get through this soon as once I get the CTF wins done, I'm taking a break from it for a while.
Lastly, I'm about to start up my 4th or 5th playthrough of, The Darkness II, on my PC as I really liked this game alot and it's pretty short so I can just hop on, finish it, then move on
