Been trying to get trough all the stories in Persona 4: Arena. Also just got Silent Hill: Downpour for $15. Gonna be playing both of those for the next little bit
October 18, 2012 at 12:21 am #72427emdeepeeMemberEp 4 of The Walking Dead. Hasn't quite gripped me like the last one………………yet!
October 19, 2012 at 12:59 am #72429I773D33MABL3MemberBack into the grind in Resonance of Fate. Probably mix it up with some Tekken tomorrow.
October 21, 2012 at 3:49 am #72437Doc-BMemberToekeyhoe jungle b!tches!!
Sh!ts mad, but it seems like there's gonna be heaps to get through… I'm running about as some deer in a scarf and summer hat… And can unlock the chick survival mode, in which I think I can also equip the scaf and hat, for 6000 in game points…. You spend the points you earn, quality…
There are about 40 animals and tons of upgrades > clothes (I've unlocked the schoolgirl dress ) > to unlock via the survival mode… Ok, it looks like shit but it seems to draw you in and off the back of Borderlands 2 it's not absolutely horrendous (it is)… Essentially it a survival RPG-esc game but you play as animals… Ps2 graphics but if you play the game you really don't notice to much as your more occupied by trying to beat the survival challenges… Nothing to demanding though…
You play over and over until you get to the Lvl (Generation) that you can complete all the challenges and unlock all the items for each animal survival mode… You unlock animals by beating them in other animal survival modes where they appear as bosses…. And there's a 14 level story mode… £10… Check it out!?

Only think that let's this game down is the lack of trophies… There's only about 12…October 22, 2012 at 3:50 am #72442HardAndSloppyMemberJust finished Silent Hill Downpour, it was actually pretty good.

The only fun I had with that was when I was laughing myself silly with the limpdick scares, convoluted plot, crappy rain effects (in a game called DOWNPOUR, lightning should not tint the world blue for a second!) and beyond wonky melee system. But hey, at least you found enjoyment out of a less than stellar game haha.
October 23, 2012 at 12:00 am #72444I773D33MABL3MemberFinished up some of the trophies I needed to get in Tekken Tag 2. Only the ghost battle grind to hit the top rank, a couple of online wins and the combot unlocks until plat.
Resonance of Fate has also been getting quite a bit of attention. I've finished 43/50 ranks in the arena and my characters are all around lvl 180 so just some boosting on a particular arena rank and they should be good to go. Although the current pain in the ass is trying to track down particular scrap parts to build custom pieces for my guns. Enemies are not behaving and dropping what I need them to!!
October 26, 2012 at 1:36 am #72446scotty243MemberManaged to grind through 50 wins of Propector (Co-op) mode in Starhawk taking a total of 12hrs and 34 mins. Spent an hour or two just goofing around at first but the other 10 were the grind. I've 47 wins still in CTF and stopped to finish Prospector (1 out of the 4 modes done! ) so decided to see if there were any games going and it seems as if Starhawk is kind of deserted online?! Most matches down the list are always 4/16, 9/32, etc. and since I've heard the quick match is essentially broken, so the only way to find a real match is to search through the games list. They seriously need to patch this so more games will be packed!
Been giving Payday a shot these past two weeks and been planning out days to play with my group but there's always a problem or something happening to where I have to rely on my friend to gather some of his buddies to join up. We've tried doing Easy St. this week but it hasn't been going smoothly.
I might start a playthrough of Dragon Age this weekend to keep me busy, but who knows?
October 27, 2012 at 1:18 am #72447HardAndSloppyMemberThere was a deal going on at the local EB Games, where you could trade in 1 game (From a list), and get $50 toward Medal of Honour Warfighter. I decided to do this, because there was another deal where if you traded in MoH:W they'd give you full store credit, minus $1 per day you had it.
So I beat the single player in a day, pretty decent, and returned it the next day. I didn't really like the multiplayer. I decided to pick up Zero's Escape: Virtues's Last Reward for the Vita. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it'll be good. I also put the rest of my remaining credit on Smart As. Hopefully that's good too. Gotta pick it up on Tuesday.
Speaking of Tuesday, I am also picking up Assassin's Creed 3 and The Zone of the Enders Collection. Gonna be really busy
October 28, 2012 at 2:39 am #72448I773D33MABL3MemberSo after a ridiculous grind yesterday I finally got all three of my characters to Lvl 300 in Resonance of Fate. All of my guns are kitted out to the max and every side mission/optional battle is done. Now just to finish thye last story mission, do the optional area and play through the poxy thing a second time.
November 2, 2012 at 12:09 am #72453I773D33MABL3MemberRight. So the first playthrough of Resonance of Fate is finally (127 hrs) done and I've managed to clean up pretty much everything. Now just to speed-run it once more and cause an explosion that kills one of my characters. Although that second bit could be a bit tricky at level 300…
November 3, 2012 at 11:48 pm #72457scotty243MemberHad a solid day today. Managed to squeeze out the 100% of Deus Ex: Human Revolution which required 2 playthroughs for some odd reason… Planned on doing 1 playthrough to do everything but for some reason, Factory Zero didn't pop. So managed to do it when I woke up today, took a shorter time than my first playthrough. The DLC was alright though… The opening was nice and slick but the rest of the DLC was not really worth the $14.99 I paid…
Started up Road of Devastation for Dead Nation and managed to knock out a third of the DLC trophies. It's harder than I thought it would be and I seriously need to plan out before going into any area. An upgrade sub machine gun isn't going to cut it. Wonder if Em will erupt and come to the rescue in the fight for survival…

I'm up for it. Will try and set aside some time this week
November 5, 2012 at 12:40 am #72464gr8jrfanMemberAfter finishing AC3, I spent more time on Liberation, the Vita Assassin's Creed. I'm fairly disapointed with it but I probably shouldn't have set my expectations so high for it. One perk it has on the console version is that it actually gets going immediately with the action for what it's worth. In the console version it takes approximately 3 hours to even be Connor. Even though there's a good reason for that, the first couple hours were pretty slow. In the first ten minutes of Liberation I had already killed six people and jumped from a building and as a 12 year old even!
November 5, 2012 at 1:41 am #72465I773D33MABL3MemberDecided to go back and finish Battlefield 3. Only trophy left is that poxy “You can be my wingman anytime” one for the perfect run in 'Good Hunting.'. Fcuking painful.
