Those campaigns drove me nuts. I didn't mind the seperate challanges but having to do them all again bored the Hell out of me. And a few of the modifiers are punishing.

November 23, 2012 at 9:22 am #72528gr8jrfanMemberYou'll master the Freeflow in time, especially if you plan on doing all the DLC. I got first place on a few of the Robin ones when I did them. The campaigns alone aren't that bad but like Jack said, the modifiers suck ass. I also wish that the DLC characters had more than 2 maps because redoing everything three times isn't exactly the most entertaining. Anyway, The Walking Dead has my vote for Game of the Year. I've never felt that much emotion and attatchment to a game. Ever. I never would've expected it to turn out as such a masterpiece given TellTale's just decent track record but the game exceeded my expectations to where I eagerly awaited each new episode. I was so involved with the relationships of the group and trying to keep Clementine safe… It's just a beautiful, sad, and amazing game. Hope it wins loads of awards!

I'll reserve my judgement on it being GOTY until I've played my way through the end of year infestation (Dishonored, Hitman etc etc). I will say this though, it's been a long time since I've played a game where I genuinely want to play it for a second time (usually its just to mop up trophies). With the exception of episode 4 this has been a great experience. I'm looking forward to making the opposite decisions to my first go through to see how different it is. Congrats to Tell Tale for such an exceptional game and almost banishing memories of BTTF. Almost
November 24, 2012 at 1:00 am #72532I773D33MABL3MemberSomething tells me I should be buying this Walking Dead stuff…
It'd make a nice change to my slow but sure emasculation at the hands of Tekken Tag 2. Really starting to struggle with the ghost battles now (fighting against Ranks 20-23), to the point where I actually had a 'Demotion Fight' today. I didn't even know that could happen. Suffice to say it did not go well. I eventually regained my lost rank and I managed to pick up the trophy for unlocking all ending movies. Just the lengthy grind to top rank and the combot unlocks to plat.
November 25, 2012 at 1:45 am #72533I773D33MABL3MemberGot the lads together for Red River today and we managed to finish all the FTE missions. Now just to rank up my last character for the plat.
I also got battered in Tekken…
November 25, 2012 at 11:12 pm #72535HardAndSloppyMemberPersona 4, how I love thee. Somehow it's just as good as the 3rd, have to finish it before I say its better. But my Vita is getting a lot of love due to it.
November 26, 2012 at 6:52 am #72538gr8jrfanMemberAfter a combined total of over 75 hours in AC3, I decided to treat myself to a second playthrough of The Walking Dead. I'll be honest, too, the first time I got to the end I actually cried. Not bawling but for the first time in years, I actually had a few tears rolling down my cheeks. I was shocked because I'm usually not the type of person who cries at movies or whatever. If you haven't bought it yet, buy it! And stick with it if you don't like the first episode! It gets really, really good. Now I'm on to start the six Metal Gear Solid plats. What little I played of Snake Eater had me impressed, this should be a lot of fun!
December 2, 2012 at 9:49 pm #72549I773D33MABL3MemberNot much done this week as I've been reading a lot but had my brother over today and we played a couple of extermination maps in Space Marine before clearing up some of the DLC trophies in Black Ops. The 100% in First Strike was actually surprisingly easy to get. The difficulty spike kicks in after that…
December 3, 2012 at 7:21 pm #72550emdeepeeMemberGot a 14 hour flight to South Africa tomorrow so the Vita is finally gonna get beasted
December 5, 2012 at 6:42 pm #72553KriggsMemberBored out of my skull playing Bulletstorm. I think that covers it.
December 7, 2012 at 2:04 am #72555I773D33MABL3MemberStarted into RE6 with one of my mates yesterday. We've only played through the first two chapters in Leon's campaign and I'm not sure if I'm convinced yet. A few little things bothering me. Top of the list would have to be the fact that enemies can move during cut-scenes so when control swings back to me I often have an anemy in my face mid-attack…
Also put a little time into Virtua Fighter 5. The game is complete ass but I want to finish the 100% as it's pretty straight foward.
December 7, 2012 at 2:36 am #72556scotty243Member@ I773
Yeah, I thought it was just me that didn't like Virtua Fighter. At least I'm not alone
Anyways, grinding through Infamous's last trophy, which is all evil powers. Just need 1 power left by playing through all the evil side missions and the plat will be mine. Hopefully I get it tomorrow or something, that would be cool.
December 7, 2012 at 2:44 am #72557AGENT_P6Member🙁 RE6. Anything after Code Veronica was increasingly sketchy IMO. Well…to be fair RE4 was enjoyable…a good example of how the style change could still be successful as long as the soul of the franchise was still there.
Then RE5 lost it, and O:RC lost it more, and the reviews say RE6 lost it even more but I haven't played the last one.
As for me, I've been super busy and haven't been able to game much, but I did manage to beat a few campaigns in Batman. I'm stuck at the one in Mr.Freeze's area…can't recall the name of the campaign but its the “extreme” one, and the modifiers are making this one predator mission impossible!
Gr8jrfan be sure to gloat here when you get all your Metal Gear plats 😀 I absolutely love Metal Gear.
