Got the 100% in Virtua Fighter, which wasn't much of a challenge as the AI is pathetic.
Also gave a quick look to zombies in Black Ops 2. Hadn't a fcuking clue what was going on and didn't last very long.

Started into RE6 with one of my mates yesterday. We've only played through the first two chapters in Leon's campaign and I'm not sure if I'm convinced yet. A few little things bothering me. Top of the list would have to be the fact that enemies can move during cut-scenes so when control swings back to me I often have an anemy in my face mid-attack…
Leon's campaign starts out very slow. And it's not the best. Jake's is the best. The camera being wrestled away from you is probably the only thing that consistently bugged me. But that game's so over the top and awesome that I don't even care about the small stuff.
December 8, 2012 at 7:24 am #72565gr8jrfanMemberGuys, TWD won Game of the Year!! It's nice to see that they got a good few of the awards right in what was an absolutely atrocious show of douchebags talking about a topic I doubt they knew anything about. That's OK, though, because while they can make a bunch of shitty jokes and advertising up the wazoo, the actual gaming community stood up and represented what we actually cared about. This year COD didn't win shit. Borderlands 2 got best shooter and best MP. The indie game genre had light shed upon it. Dishonored won best action. And finally, what I was most happy to see: in 5 excellent nominees, a game that could make you cry won over everything else this year. While it was a slow year, it showed that if you wanted a totally different game, you can get it now. Viva la indie!
After platinuming MGS3, I wanted more of Big Boss so I dug up my PSPgo and bought MGPO. After about an hour and a half, I gave up on the controls. How did I ever play PSP?! A second stick is a necessity for quick camera shifting in a stealth game!
Said fcuk it, read the story in the MG Wiki, and played Peace Walker.

There's a patch for RE6 coming in soon. Helps fix some of the functional issues of the game such as camera, etc. and also adds in a new difficulty mode. Should be fun.
Metal Gear Solid 4's Assassin run is un-***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE***-bearable, but oh well. I'm going to finish this run, then no alarms/kills, then attempt the BIG BOSS EXTREME run right after. Hopefully I should get this shit done next weekend.
December 18, 2012 at 2:13 am #72594I773D33MABL3MemberI haven't done much on my own account lately but I just finished getting all the intel in Black Ops for my brother. It was the last trophy he needed for the plat but he just can't bring himself to go after collectibles. I actually fell asleep twice doing it, just snapped awake to find Mason walking in circles and aiming at the ground where I'd slumped on the analogues.
December 19, 2012 at 9:32 pm #72595KriggsMemberRecently picked up The sims 3, I'd an urge to build a house and the dlc for skyrim isn't available so I thought why not.
It's actually a decent enough game but I think there isn't enough stuff to buy in it and i feel a little cheated. Gonna be an easy enough plat I hope
@ Jack
Where's my frackin crossbow trophy!!!!!!!!!!
December 20, 2012 at 12:04 am #72596KriggsMemberMyself and jack just turned on Black ops to see if we could get the “Sacrificial Lamb” trophy, the one which has glitched on me multiple times, and aftyer crawling our way through stupidity on my part we finally managed to get it. Frack yes I'm free of that fracking chip on my shoulder.
Now I've just to collect the intel and I'm done.
December 20, 2012 at 2:08 am #72597I773D33MABL3MemberDespite his best attempts to sabotage things, I got that twat his Sacrificial Lamb trophy, which was actually a welcome change of pace after spending far too much of the day grinding kills in Space Marine.
Just started up Farcry 3 so I could actually enjoy playing a game today…
December 20, 2012 at 3:21 am #72599scotty243MemberGot Metro 2033 to play and currently installing it right now. Hopefully it's good because I need something to play until Friday and MGS4 isn't cuttin' it.
Speaking of MGS4, I'm on my 5th run of the game which is Centipede. On Act 2 nearing the end and managed to clean up the gun trophies and just need Flashbacks, Stealth, and iPod songs. Should hopefully get it in the 2 weeks I have off but that means forcing myself through the slow grind. Printed out 4 pages for the flashbacks and going to mark one off each time I get one so I'll know which ones I miss if I do miss any of them.
December 20, 2012 at 6:20 am #72602gr8jrfanMemberNormally I stay away from the “PS2 classics” on the PlayStation Store but… BULLY!!! I was so happy and also sad when I saw this in the update! I was happy because it is a fantastic game and I'm going to get to play it again, this time to 100% completion! But the bad news was it wasn't an HD version so no trophies, upscaled graphics, or any of the charming additions in the 360's Scholarship Edition.
Oh well, I recommend you get this game if you haven't. It's totally awesome and it's only $10 for a main story that lasts around 15-20 hours alone. Everybody get it so we can show Rockstar we want Bully 2 after GTA V!
Also, it turns out MGPO is rad, actually. Got 9 hours on it so far. I'm addicted to building the best army possible!
December 22, 2012 at 7:40 am #72608gr8jrfanMemberAfter beating Bully again, this time on my PS3, I was left with one question. Why the FCUK isn't there a goddamn trophy list?! It's such a good game and I feel like it'll be ignored by a lot of people this generation because of it's current format. Do yourself and I a favor and go play it. The playthrough I did of purely story and classes has taken me 14 hours, and I plan on getting even more of the $10 spent out of it. Hell, it has Rockstar's only GOOD melee combat system ever, loads of charm, excellent mission structure, and plenty to do! Rockstar's choice to not give it the perks of the 360's version may be a missed opportunity, but make sure you don't miss this opportunity to play one of the best PS2 games out there!
December 23, 2012 at 2:25 am #72611scotty243MemberPicked up RE6, Max Payne 3, and a few others today for pretty cheap as well as brand-new.
Started up Max Payne 3 Hardcore playthrough today and having more fun than I did last time. The combat is a bit challenging than it was in the earlier stages, but tense and fun nonetheless. Along with that, I loaded up the multiplayer portion and was greeted with an ass whupping from all angles. My K/D has probably taken a bad rep and has fallen with the usual .90%… Leveled up to 9 and it feels like a chore than before, oh well, hopefully the community is there to stay. Might hit up a few matches with gr8jrfan and a few other budds before bed and throughout the week
Em and I started up RE6 today (finally! ) and was absolutely blown away at how this game is so fcuking AWESOME!!! Wished Em didn't have to leave, I couldn't put the controller down while fighting a bit of sleepiness. We clocked in about 2-3 hours of gameplay and have only finished the 1st mission in Leon's campaign so far (yeah, I suck). Man, this was well worth every penny I spent and is probably my favorite game this year. Em, come back!!!

It wasn't that you sucked. More like you appear to have suicidal tendencies that gravitate towards being obliterated by a subway train
December 24, 2012 at 3:26 am #72614Seibei4211Membergr8jrfan and I had problems with that subway the first time we went through it. I know on at least one occasion we died when I was so sure neither of us were near a train as it went by. There were a lot of fairly BS instances of insta-death while we were playing, but whatever. There's one in Jake's campaign that I'm sure will kill you several times. And there's definitely one in Chris', although maybe you'll have better luck with that one than we did.
December 24, 2012 at 7:10 pm #72615scotty243MemberSo with Max Payne 3 multiplayer having griped me, I’ve decided to get some of my crew members together and gr8jrfan to grind to level 50 with me. So far, we had a pretty serious session last night with a LONG playtime and managing to knock off a few levels in return. Right now I’m clocking in around 18, nearing 19, while it may seem like it’s easy to level up, it’s not, it’s a joke and whoever put this type of leveling up should be condemned. On the single player side, I’m on Chapter XI and am getting frustrated and inrittated with how the game’s logic is total bullsh!t. But whatever.
RE6 has been going good. I believe Em and I are nearing the last few minutes of Chapter 2, not sure yet. When he’s off, I usually give Mercenaries a spin and find it to be a pleasant surprise. While it’s fun, it definitely is better with a co-op buddy. Saying that, there is NO one playing this portion of the game, at least in Quick Matches. It’s a pretty fun mode and could see myself giving it a spin for a few hours later.
