I'm just putting all my effort into reaching level 50 in Max Payne 3 with scotty243. After 3 hours of playing today, I ranked up ONCE. From 27 to 28. What a fcuking joke. Admittedly, I'm not the best at the online portion of it, but that was 3 hours goddamnit! I could've went up like 15 levels in COD or 3 in Battlefield! No wonder I'm beginning to learn all the veterans' names!
I've also done my first playthrough of Dishonored, killing everybody I've ever come into contact with. My body count was in the 700s! It's a tough adjustment to being a pacifist ninja now, with my no kill or alarm run. Maybe the ending will be slightly less bleak this way?
Waiting for the next MP3 session. Wish Denzel had a mic, but no big deal. I get to listen to all the ghetto people yelling at their friends for taking their phones and spilling juice through their mics!
December 25, 2012 at 1:01 am #72617Seibei4211MemberThe ending's a lot less bleak. The overall game is a lot easier, too, since there's fewer tallboys and guards and stuff. The last level is especially easy in low chaos. If you're lucky, you might get a bone charm that halves the time it takes to choke someone out. That thing is so great. I didn't get the bone charm that increases mana regeneration speed on my second playthrough though. That thing is also great. Getting bend time 2 also makes things a lot easier.

Dead Island GOTY
December 31, 2012 at 8:49 pm #72627AGENT_P6Memberwell, with my insane triple monitor setup (got a second monitor for xmas and decided to buy a 3rd for boxing day) I've been a PC snob over the holidays
Turns out a good 1/3 of my Steam games support 5760×1080 resolution, and my graphics card can keep up if I turn the settings down to medium or even low for the hardcore games like witcher 2, crysis, metro and battlefield 3. Despite all that fanciness tho, I spent most of my time playing the 1998 hit, Half Life 1. I LOVE VALVE!
Soon I'll be getting back on my PS3 to run some Dead Nation if Scotty is still up for it, and I'm really really really really really really really looking forward to experiencing the graphical and RPG nerdgasm of Final Fantasy 13-2
Here's some pics of my monitors

Cheers to that
@ Agent
You haven't sent me a messaged saying when you wanted to play again
Been playing Spec Ops: The Line for the past few days and I'm glad to say, this was well worth the wait. The story in this game is one of the best I've had the pleasure of experiencing with an unforgettable ending. Don't want to talk more about the plot or SP because hopefully some of you might play it? But the fcuking AI is ridiculous on FUBAR. Ugh… Just, no.
On the multiplayer side, I ranked up to level 23 on Max Payne 3 before calling a break to dive into Spec Ops. Anyways, fcuk Rockstar for doing this leveling up system how it is. This is my LAST Rockstar game if Agent ever comes out. The glitches in SP, the leveling in MP, and the disappointment I've had with every one of their games since Red Dead. Thankfully, I have someone with me enduring the PAYNE
Picked up Medal of Honor for $6.99 with Medal of Honor: Frontline, pretty good deal. Might start up the single player campaign tonight since I deleted my save data a long time ago. After that, I'll load up Tier 1 mode immediately and finish off the 6 missions I have left. Hopefully boosting gets done soon for this game since I don't want to spend a long amount of time with this one
And lastly, Resident Evil 6 with Em. It's been great although I felt Leon's boss fight dragged on for too long and Chris' campaign wasn't the top tier one I was hoping, but still great. Saying that, the car chase mission in Chris' campaign is a load of bullshit across the board. It took Em and I about 30 minutes?? Maybe even more but seriously? It's essentially a LUCK based chase since the BSAA have shitty drivers in the business.
January 1, 2013 at 10:25 am #72633gr8jrfanMemberThat's a freaking amazing setup, man!!! Ground Zeroes is going to look sick on those.
Yeah, the on-rails sections are pretty poor but in truth, I think they were among my favorite co-op moments of the game. Whether it was me laughing at Patrick for his insanely bad luck at how the snowmobile section was treating him or my hilarious inability to navigate the split second debris and empty vehicles in the bike section, completely making the entire thing anticlimactic… It brought it into light that maybe the game was trying to troll the player for some coop laughs, but it got them. That game would be no fun at all alone.
I've been chipping away at the frustrating FUBAR mode and making progress on the ridiculously easy PS All Stars plats, myself. But forget all that! I've been watching a season of Breaking Bad a day! That show's so great!!
January 1, 2013 at 7:35 pm #72636scotty243Member@ gr8
I couldn't stop laughing when Em and I was nearing a checkpoint and BANG!! Ada got away. Although I was pissed at first, it was hilarious towards the end.
Also, FUBAR is bad, but the thing is, use Lugo and Adams to take down enemies. There were some sections where all I had to do was take cover and order my squad to take out all the enemies, then just walk through the funeral of what bodies were left
January 2, 2013 at 1:37 am #72639gr8jrfanMemberIt's harsh with the checkpoints, that's what always gets on my nerves. I often rely on the AI if I'm too scared to poke my head out. For the most part, they can respond and are intelligent enough to just drop everything and rush towards the target you designated but when they both run out far enough for me to not get them without being a Terminator, the attempt at getting to the next checkpoint is totally boned. In any case, I'm close to the end; I'm on Chapter 11/15 and while I'm almost finished I'm dreading the moment I get to 13 and beyond and there's just a total shitstorm with only one (retarted) AI to make sure I don't get flanked. He can't do that but he has the nerve to yell at me if I'm not right at his side, the prick. ADAMSSSS!!!
January 3, 2013 at 8:25 pm #72640I773D33MABL3MemberI've just finished up the single player in Farcry 3. I'll have my brother over tomorrow to tackle the co-op and that'll be the plat done there. I'm still grinding kills in Space Marine when I can stay awake through it.
And the last couple of days have seen me on the Vita playing Ecolibrium. Anyone else tried this?
January 3, 2013 at 8:52 pm #72643Doc-BMemberNow I've finished FC3 I think I'll finish up Hitman since it doesn't seem to tough, finish up the misc. trophies and finish off with the hard playthrough…
Started FF13 JUST for the dreaded Treasure Hunter Trophy Completed the main story and got a save file just before the Final boss with two 32k and one 10k+ battles if I battle/save/exit/load so I'm gonna go back and GRIND the sh!t out of that for some banter…
It's my belief that after finishing the main quest, completing the 64 challenges and hopefully collecting all those chests I should have 70/80% of the crap I need? And with my heavily upgraded char's going into post-story I should have it pretty easy-ish?Need to get back and finish Borderlands 2 but Jenkins is a cnut!!
January 3, 2013 at 10:53 pm #72648scotty243MemberWow, this'll be the third post mentioning Far Cry 3
Popped this bad boy in last night, immediately doing co-op first, which was effy. Had a bit of fun after a little bit but nothing change till I loaded up the outstanding single player portion. Been having a ton of fun on this. Been mostly roaming around the island and taking my time unlike other free roam games where I just storm through the SP. The story is actually surprisingly great and the voice acting is just perfect.
Got halfway through the dull campaign that is Medal of Honor. Towards the end of Belly of the Beast, the game picked up incredibly which is nice since I had kind of like the last few chapters of the campaign before. It feels like I haven't played this game though, either because it's been a long time or it's just incredibly forgettable and generic.
Waiting for Rockstar's MP event for Max Payne 3 next weekend, so Far Cry should keep me busy
January 6, 2013 at 10:11 am #72652gr8jrfanMemberI found a little step that we ignored in our first attempt of the Black Ops 2 easter egg, that if left unchecked, wouldn't have awarded us the trophy after all the requirements were met. All we had to do was build a table with 4 parts scattered around the massive map. Thankfully, we got what we set out to do and without all the BS easter egg stuff the Coalition does in Zombies, it was actually kinda fun. Didn't ask too much of us and I amazed myself with the dramatic, fiery conclusion to the game.
Managed to force down two more levels in the disaster that is Black Ops: Declassified. Let me tell ya, the critics were right on the money with this one. They actually found a way to screw up aiming your gun Can't wait til I'm done with Veteran, then I get to move on to the “complete a level without taking damage” trophy
It's all proof that I'm going to try to stay away from military shooters from now on. The only enjoyment I ever get out of them anymore is from the Zombies mode in Treyarch's offerings. I said no to Warfighter, and I will with Battlefield 4 and the rest. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a joke. They're truly scraping the bottom of the barrel now so one can hope COD and the FPS craze gets dethroned within the near future.
January 7, 2013 at 1:31 am #72662I773D33MABL3MemberAttempted the SP in Black Ops 2 today. I got through the first level before falling asleep. Easily the most boring bit of FPS gameplay I've ever gone through (and that's including Jericho!). I don't know if it's just a shite level or Ive finally reached my tolerance for the CoD formula.
It's a pity that they push zombies forward and expand it in every way yet they let the SP stagnate.
Apart from that crap I'm still chipping away at Ecolibrium. This thing is pretty addictive! I got Alpha creatures today!
January 10, 2013 at 9:51 pm #72682scotty243MemberBeen hammered with material from school for a few days but finally managed to get a little breathing space for a bit of gaming today
Far Cry 3 100% has me eager to hop back into the action since I've had nothing but fun since starting the title. This is probably one of a few games where I'm willing to go out of my way to complete extra tasks, it's been that much fun. Currently have 61% since I've been doing a bit of everything. Working on outposts and radio towers now, nearly done with radio towers so I'll juggle the last of the outposts then Lost Letters
Eagerly anticipating the Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Event tomorrow for hopefully a triple XP event, since Rockstar has hosted the same event in the past. If not, I'll gladly just play up to level 30 before setting it aside for the next weekend. Going to grind up 5 levels every weekend to spread the time out as well as not feeling overwhelmed.
January 14, 2013 at 1:07 am #72695scotty243MemberWith the weekend coming to an end, and the exams beginning, I've had to cut back on the gaming this week a bit to cram in some study time.
Anyways, managed to knock off the Far Cry 3 plat at 77%, I think? I have all the Wanted: Dead side quests done and doing some of the animal hunting, so it's been keeping me content. I'm wondering though, it says I have one vehicle left to drive as well as one gun, are they missable? If so, it'll suck not having 100% but the amount that I received will satisfy me either way.
As for Max Payne 3, with the triple XP lasting the entire weekend and also not being listed on Rockstar's Social Club website, I became quite pissed of not knowing this information. If you're going to host something like that, list it for ALL weekend, not, “4 PM – 7 PM Eastern January 11th.” Call me an idiot or what not, but I honestly think they should've listed that better. Besides that, managed to level up to level 34 out of the 50 ranks. I had gr8 by my side, enduring the painful torture as well as the downright disgusting glitches and bugs from Rockstar's hatred of parties. Going to try to level up to 39 or higher next weekend, then rinse repeat for the following weekends. Hopefully I can have this done soon.
Saved for last, RE6 co-op has been able to satisfy and hold up, despite not being as great as it first started out. It could possibly be just having come from the torture that resides in Max Payne? But oh well. On Chapter 5 of Jake's campaign, which is surprisingly short. While having started off strong, it has slowly degraded in being just good. But I have to admit, I did like Sherry in the medical outfit….
