@Kriggs and scotty243
I already have the Welcome Park 100%. I think I've had it done for 3 months now. I drew a 16 bit piece of paper and that worked a 1000 times better than any picture. Arranging it quick was still tough for me because, again, I suck at slide puzzles. And I thought you didn't really want a Vita, Denzel? I'm sure anybody'd accept a free one, though. Do you want my copy of Black Ops: Declassified?
Either draw a 16 square grid on a piece of paper or print one off one from google images. I'll send you a message on PSN if you're curious about a more specific image. From there, it's just luck of tile placement and practising the shitty thing. You'll get better at it over time.
Meanwhile in gr8jrfanland…
I've been playing the living hell out of Far Cry 3. It's such a freaking good game; I take back what I said about the missions being overhyped. I think I'll stick around for a bit after the platinum, but not to total 100%, some of those collectibles and side activities suck. I'm not sure if I'd rather place it as GOTY 2012 but if I were to give it a rating, I'd give it a 10/10. When I say that, I'm not saying it's perfect or my favorite but that it's fcuking outstanding. Denzel was right about one thing: This is how FPS's should be done. But he was wrong about the characters. I couldn't care less about them, really. With the exception of Vaas Montenegro, of course, and I think that agent guy's pretty cool. I'll have this game platinumed by tomorrow and I'll continue to enjoy every minute of it.
January 28, 2013 at 7:36 pm #72822KriggsMemberJust finished Red Faction: Armageddon, yay another platinum
Now I'm collecting all the lorestones in Kingdoms of Amalur, probably the only tedious thing in this game to be honest. I should get it later tonight hopefully.
January 28, 2013 at 9:22 pm #72824Seibei4211MemberI think the lorestones are only tedious if you're only going for the Plat and ignoring everything else. You tend to run into most of them just from exploring, then you can eventually have them appear on the map so they're not even hard to find anymore. I like that they let you do that. For a game of that size, they could've been way worse with collectibles, so that was nice of them.

I can't say no to fre- I mean helping out a team player
Also, was I the only one who enjoyed Hoyt? I thought he was an interesting character and menacing as well. I'd like to see DLC backstories for these characters, but then it would ruin the mystery of some of their backstories and what drove them to their present selves, if that makes sense?
January 28, 2013 at 9:35 pm #72828KriggsMemberYeah it's not too bad but time consuming, I had the majority of them going through the game but the season ones are all in dungeons. They're the only tedious ones really.
Less than 20 left now though and then i then i get to enjoy the game again
January 28, 2013 at 9:50 pm #72830Seibei4211MemberYeah, the dungeon ones could be annoying if you missed them the first time. It's nice that they give you a bit of a passive bonus for finding them though. If it was just for the recordings on them, they'd be totally lame. I mean, unless you liked the stories they told. How far are you into the game?
Edit: Oh, nevermind, I didn't realize you had this game for ages. I thought you just recently got it.
January 28, 2013 at 10:06 pm #72837KriggsMemberYeah I've had it for a good while, rediscovered it recently and wanted to finish it.
February 6, 2013 at 6:17 am #72907gr8jrfanMemberSly 4 and Dead Space 3. Sly 4 exceeded my expectations and DS3 met them. Nobody has to worry about “missing out on the full story” if they ignore the co-op because the co-op optional missions are just for CARVER'S backstory. Was funny to actually see things Patrick didn't. “What nutcracker? There's nothing in your hands!” I skipped out on Dead Space 2 so a lot of the story stuff was just too much for me to bother paying any attention to it. I just refer to Ellie as Funbags McCow.
Sly 4 is sooo freaking good. Brings me back to his days of PS2 perfection; Sanzaro did an excellent job at making it actually feel like Sly 4 (If nobody told me Sucker Punch only assisted them, I wouldn't have noticed). Why are none of you playing Sly 4?
February 6, 2013 at 8:53 am #72908emdeepeeMemberSo something incredibly strange happened today. Woke up at half 7 and found Dead Space 3 stuck in my letter box!!!!
The post men around here never EVER deliver before lunchtime and the site I ordered it from (thehut.com) never EVER get a new release to me much more than a week AFTER release, never mind two days before. Guess that's my day off sorted then
February 6, 2013 at 9:55 am #72909Seibei4211MemberSly 4's the kind of game that I never really wanna stop playing and the only reason I do is to sleep or eat or something.
February 6, 2013 at 3:01 pm #72910KriggsMemberI'm finishing off Pro-evolution 2011, a bit tedious and not usually my type of game but I wanted to get the plat. Gonna take a while but I'm about hafway there.
February 9, 2013 at 12:47 am #72916scotty243MemberStarted up Leon's campaign on Professional to immediately find it to be quite tense? I'm not finding it to be difficult, however it seems as if once a zombie is grabbing me, it's game over? It's fun nonetheless although the difficulty does raise the tension quite the bit. It could also possibly be because I didn't bring over the guns and playing as Leon for the first time…
Stormed through Treyarch's latest addition of Black Ops II to find a shit storm in the waking. Won't dwell on it too much, but it was awful.
February 11, 2013 at 6:47 am #72921HardAndSloppyMemberI haven't posted in forever I took a little time off gaming, trying to get some issues with the ladies sorted out, though I doubt you guys really want to get into it Finally got all that crap done with, and now back to gaming
Played all the through the new DmC, and I have to say, I quite enjoyed it. The combat was awesome, the story was actually pretty cool, and I liked the characters. People need to gives this a chance more often. Also decided to go my backlog, and finished off Far Cry 3. Gotta admit, it was pretty awesome. Was I the only one who liked his friends?
And just got a couple new games as well. Yay, more backlog Picked up Wonderbook: Book of Spells (On sale for $10, come one, what a great deal!!), Hitman HD Collection (Had a $20 off coupon), and Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time. I'm really excited to start all of them, but Sly Cooper takes the lead. So many fond memories I'll be back to let you guys know what I think.
February 13, 2013 at 8:17 am #72938emdeepeeMemberHaving finished off Dead Space 3 I'm gonna jump into the Minervas Den DLC for Bioshock 2. Hopefully it's as good as I'm led to believe.
February 14, 2013 at 12:32 pm #72942I773D33MABL3MemberI haven't been gaming too much lately as I've a stack of books I want to get through. On the PS3 I've really only chewed through a few games of Space Marine notching up kills.
On the Vita I'm still focusing on Ecolibrium and I've only one trophy left for 100%. I need a level 10 Alpha creature but I'm well on my way with a Lvl 6 Phubasio. Carnivors are the easiest do to it with as their adaptation rate doesn't drop with the frequent shortages in foliage.
