I'm still playing Crysis 2
March 8, 2013 at 12:02 am #73020KriggsMemberFinally finished my boost in Crysis 2 but it didn't result in me getting the platinum…….
Unfortunately for me my “Dedication” trophy glitched and after first playing the game on 11/09/2011 it has refused to pop so far. I'm going to have to play the game on the first of every month until it pops.
I'm also playing through Black Ops 2's campaign and I have to say towards the end I started to enjoy myself. The revelation at the end did put a smile on my face but also left me slightly confused so I'm gonna pay more attention to the story on veteran.
March 8, 2013 at 1:17 am #73021scotty243MemberAcquired my Dead Space 3 plat earlier today, which didn't require much effort aside from Drill Sergeant Had an incredible amount of fun with the co-op portion of the title but as for single player (except Classic), the game was undeniably shallow, dull, and repetitive. Anxiously anticipating the DLC to be released solely to hop back on the co-op portion!!!
Any who, going to finish the Max Payne 3 grind this weekend (I think? ) since I'm just 6 levels away from that smokin' plat With that, I should have obtained the 100% and finally put my personal demons to rest with this title Man, fcuk this game
March 8, 2013 at 6:54 am #73025gr8jrfanMemberBeen kissing my Sly 4 copy and telling her how I missed her so. The game's so well designed that if I wore a hat, I'd tip it to Sanzaro. The only complaint I've had so far is that a few of the minigames are pretty gimicky. It still uses Sixaxis! The long loads are whatever, I 100%ed Fallout 3… But yeah, excellent level design, boss design, world design, enemy design, fun collectibles, replay value, competent addition to the series, variety, etc. It gets an A+ in my book.
Gonna probably grind through more of the technical disaster that is Tedious Payne in the Ass 3 this weekend in addition to the final (YES!) DLC for Mass Effect 3, so I can grab my 100% and forget allll about it. No more penny pinching from Bioware, yay!! $15 for 2-3 hours?! Kiss my ass, you incompetent conclusion writers!!
March 13, 2013 at 4:39 am #73036I773D33MABL3MemberA decent day of gaming today. Got through a good chunk of Gravity Crash and picked up the two collectable trophies.
Then on to BO2 Zombies and the lads helped me grab the last trophies I needed in the original list and quite a few of the DLC ones. Tomorrow night's the easter egg and hopefully I'll get the individual trophy for that shitty gun that seems to shoot soap.
March 13, 2013 at 4:11 pm #73039KriggsMemberBeen playing some Rocksmith lately, I keep forgetting I have the damn game. Managed to thrash the gold ranking's on some of the challenges by quite a bit but then got lost in the “Muse”ic (lol) and broke a couple strings so have to wait till next week to play it again
Knocked out over 50% of the Blops 2 Zombies dlc last night with the guys and that soap gun is some serious fun. “Crap I'm about to die.., no wait the Zombies just slipped on their ass “
Starting the Skyrim dlc today at some stage and then back onto Blops later with The Coalition to kick some easter egg ass.
March 13, 2013 at 6:46 pm #73040emdeepeeMemberCan't decide whether or not to pick up I Am Alive since its reasonably priced. Can anyone recommend it as I heard it was more frustrating than fun?
March 13, 2013 at 7:25 pm #73042Seibei4211MemberI really liked I Am Alive. I don't know how it's frustrating. I thought it was worth its full price, so I'd say it's definitely worth a discounted price. One thing about I Am Alive is that after you play it, you'll have a headstart with The Last of Us, because that game feels like a bigger, better version of I Am Alive.
March 14, 2013 at 12:36 am #73044scotty243MemberNabbed the Dead Space 3 100%, so it's off with that game (I don't give two shits if a new “expansion” releases).
Max Payne 3 has me with 4 levels left to grind, although it's still sucking the life out of me every second I play that game. Possibly this weekend I may have a bit of fun with it? There has been some matches filled with enjoyment, won't lie.
Resident Evil 6 Pro. is getting done. Already finished Leon's campaign in a matter of 2 hours for the last 3 chapters. Should have Chris' campaign done tomorrow? It's too much of a grind to play through that game again however it's not a game I hate with a passion, so the plat will be a nice grab
March 14, 2013 at 2:04 pm #73050I773D33MABL3MemberHad a somewhat fruitless night going for 'High Maintenance' with the lads. It's by no means the hardest ensemble trophy in zombies but it's still a shit.
On another note, the release of Deador Alive 5 free on PS+ has made the trophy list section on this site relevant again! Go admin with all your planning ahead!
March 14, 2013 at 5:31 pm #73051I773D33MABL3MemberSecond attempt at BO2 campaign not going so well. It's holding my interest so well I've made tea, gone to the shop, eaten my lunch, phoned my mother, phoned Kristoff (twice) read a PS4 article in Games.tm and now I'm on the net…
March 14, 2013 at 9:53 pm #73052gr8jrfanMemberI borrowed my friend's copy of Far Cry 3 to go for the 100% completion for fun! It's such a freaking awesome game!! Also been going into Zombies with multiple successes in everything non-easter egg related, and dodgy results with High Maintenance. It was pretty clear that we needed to do something different to get the easter egg done more efficiently and I've already tried one variable.
Haven't gotten a chance to play God of War: Ascension properly yet with a deadly combination of homework and Coalition dedication, but I'll hopefully get a chance to play it soon enough. I might just wait for the trophy guide to go up now that I've waited long enough. The Collector's Edition is fcuking sweet!!
March 15, 2013 at 1:32 am #73055I773D33MABL3MemberSo after a whole day trying to stomach BO2 I've managed about six missions. Never before have I procrastinated so extensively. I did spend some time trying challenges and I've grabbed the majority of what I've available so far.
One problem though. On 'Old Wounds', what do I have to do to destroy 4 choppers in the north pass? I've got there three times now and flaked everything in the air with my stinger but no dice. Do I have to be standing in a specific spot?
March 16, 2013 at 1:12 am #73059KriggsMemberPlayed some more Rocksmith today with my newly stringed guitar , now that they're not dull I was able to complete the harmonics challenge and knock out some of the other techniques for gold ranks in all technique challenges and 2 lovely trophies.
I've played every song in the game at this stage and now on the second round the points requirements for some songs have jumped to the equivalent of 100% note accuracy. I ended up playing a god awful song today three times with 96%-98% accuracy and still didn't pass it.
Jarvis Cocker can suck a d1ck………..
March 17, 2013 at 2:01 am #73068KriggsMemberThe Coailtion strikes again
We just managed to finish off the latest easter egg without much of a problem. Alas the revelation that gr8jrfan is actually the weakest member of the team shook us all to the core. How did this happen, you used to be cool!!!!
Had to start skyrim again, my game pretty much glitched as always and didn't present me with the necessary conversation option so I've been forced to restart from scratch. I'm not complaining though, three and a half hours in and I've gotten my sneak to 100 and am lv 19, this is gonna be easy
