Been playing a bit of Devils Cartel and honestly it's not that bad! Sure it's stupid as shit but its fun!
April 10, 2013 at 6:02 pm #73166Seibei4211MemberYeah, I liked that demo. It's especially good in comparison if you've played The 40th Day. Wanna get the full game soon.
April 13, 2013 at 2:18 am #73169gr8jrfanMemberJust a heads up for ya this time, Denzel. I'll be straight there after the ACT is done!

April 13, 2013 at 3:35 am #73171Seibei4211MemberI was playing Crysis 3. I was already disliking it because of the game in general, the trophies asking me to play the game weird, and the upgrade system making me grind dumb crap. I got to one part where I spent a load of time grinding out damage absorption points, near-death survivals, health regeneration, and stealth time. Finally went and killed everyone in the area. I picked up another upgrade kit and bought another module. All I needed to do to upgrade it was recharge energy, which I could do right then since there were no enemies. Just run around and use stealth a bunch.
Now the guide warns you not to buy upgrades unless you're close to a checkpoint and there are no enemies around. I had that all checked out. Just needed to upgrade this real quick and I'd be on my way. When I was running around, however, there was, for some ridiculous reason, a hole in the walkway, which I fell through Looney Tunes-style, then immediately got wedged between the building and some metal and couldn't get out. Hadn't hit a checkpoint since I started doing all of that boring grinding. If I restarted, none of that would be saved. I disliked the game before that happened. Now I hate it. Fcuk this game.
April 13, 2013 at 8:05 am #73172emdeepeeMemberFinished Spec Ops last night and have to say I thought it was very good. Anyone able to tell me how much harder FUBAR is compared to Suicide setting?
Will be moving on to DMC in the next day or two.
April 15, 2013 at 7:36 pm #73174Doc-BMemberBeen playing Borderlands 2 'Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode', beast mode

Still can't find Jimmy Jenkins though, FU*K Gearbox!
April 15, 2013 at 10:22 pm #73175emdeepeeMemberWell it's fair to say DMC sucks
Boring, repetitive, joyless. I could go on and on, but I don't want to be known as Scotty MK II
April 18, 2013 at 7:06 pm #73179Seibei4211MemberI dunno. I thought it was fun enough.
April 20, 2013 at 1:50 am #73187scotty243MemberHaven't been much into the gaming scene lately, despite the fact that I'm signed into PSN
Hitman Absolution hasn't been too impressive, I think. I've had my fun for the first 10 chapters however afterwards the game started to drag a bit. The story wasn't as compelling as I thought it'd be but it did have its moments, I think? Gameplay-wise, I stopped trying to play stealthly after the first few chapters since I didn't like the stealth at all in the title; It felt broken at times and not as smoothed out or polished as let's say, Deus Ex. It's whatever though – Should have the plat cracked out tomorrow.
Dishonored is also on the underwhelmed list – Haven't been impressed a single bit. I truly think that this game is much better in concept than in context since it has elements I admire (dark tone, assassins, betrayal, & supernatural powers) however it doesn't play out fully in the main game. The story for me isn't compelling at all though and it's near one of the most dull I've had to experience yet. I'll probably drag this throughout the week (or month) since it's criminal to have a game that is boring.
Also have Metal Gear Solid 3 one playthrough method guide lined up for use but at the moment I can't be assed since it's such a boring game and it's collectible heaven
May give EVE Online a go later tonight since a friend and I have been eyeing at it for some time. He's played it for quite a while now and should get me through the tutorials to have some epic RTS happening!!
April 20, 2013 at 8:51 am #73189emdeepeeMemberGave up on DMC at chapter 7, just couldn't stand it anymore. Moved onto MGR which seems to be more of the same! (as in hack and slash). Hopefully I'll finish this one though.
April 20, 2013 at 9:06 am #73191Seibei4211MemberDid you expect MGR to not be hack 'n slash?

No I knew what I would be getting, I could have just done with a break from it after the DMC experience ? Unfortunately I don't have any control over what the rental company send me.
April 20, 2013 at 11:17 am #73194emdeepeeMemberAfter getting hooked on the Vita version of Motorstorm RC I thought I'd whore out some extra trophies on the network version. Fired it up and all the vita trophies unlocked straight away, no effort required
Essentially you can get two plats for this game whilst only finishing one version. Trophy Whores wet dream 😉
April 22, 2013 at 4:07 pm #73196emdeepeeMemberPlaying a bit of Lego Batman 2 and whilst I would say its probably the best lego game yet it's also the worst for glitches. Have had to replay three levels so far due to issues such as characters getting stuck in the scenery!!!!!!!
