Played a bit of LBP 2 recently. Felt like I was cheated out of my “Complete Story Mode” trophy though as I was playing on co-op. My little Sack Boy bit the dust whilst whilst my partner carried on and finished the level. Up popped the trophy I didn't earn and it felt like a bit of an anti-climax.
On to the Sly Collection now.
March 18, 2011 at 2:47 pm #69303Doc-BMemberLooking to get my Plat. for Alpha Protocol this weekend… A very, very average game, but i found it pretty fun to play through.
It's pretty grim to look at and feels very dated, but for a game I've heard is very buggy i myself have only came across one (I fell through the bottom of an elevator and got stuck at the bottom), the story is basic, but the story options available do change it up a little for re-playability value…
I'm on my third run, playing as a terrorist – Beard, dark glasses, turbin Well… Perhaps not the third but as 'terroristy' as possible, lmao.
It feels like a Hitman game with bad graphics and 'leveling' – Worth about £5 if you can look past it's basic lackluster graphics and gameplay… And an easy Plat.
March 18, 2011 at 9:22 pm #69308HardAndSloppyMemberbeat homefront on the first day i got it, luckily i rented it. all it is, is another call of duty game.
March 20, 2011 at 2:24 am #69316I773D33MABL3MemberMyself and KZ3 have kissed and made up and I'm tackling elite again (solo this time). It's easier than KZ2 and I'm up to chapter six without too much fuss. There was a smattering of choke points that had me grinding my teeth for a while but the controller has yet to be fired at the wall.
In fact the only truly frustrating part is having to rely on that fat fcuk Rico and his wildly fluctuating interpretation of the proximity needed to heal my downed ass. Sometimes he'll run across the level urging me to hold on but just as often stand above me mourning the fact that he can't get to me.
It doesn't help that his character is easily the worst in the game. I've had to sit through that “Gentlemen, it's been an honour” line three or four times now and it still makes me wince.
March 20, 2011 at 7:15 am #69318gr8jrfanMemberSo I’ve grabbed every trophy in FO3 with the exception of Mill Worker.I think it might be glitched bc I have all 10 rewards…I guess I’ll have to make a new save again tomorrow and that will end yet another game in my backlog. I have 5 unpackaged games waiting to be played afterwards. Homefront, Bulletstorm, Fight Night Champion, MLB 11, and LBP 2. Any suggestions as to which I should play first?
March 20, 2011 at 7:50 am #69319emdeepeeMemberHave moved onto Homefront and I'm very disappointed as I had high hopes for the game. Anoher generic shooter
As with H&S its only a rental though, so things could have been worse.

LBP2 is the best of the bunch, so leave it for last. Play fight night cause its only like 3 hours for the story mode, then go for MLB 11, then homefront because its pretty generic as emdeepee has said, then bulletstorm which is pretty good but gets kind of stale. Then finally LBP2 the best of 'em all. That way you have more time to play some of the community levels, which are pretty crazy. Did you know someone remade Plants vs. Zombies in it?
March 21, 2011 at 3:06 am #69326I773D33MABL3MemberKZ3 elite is sorted. Very surprised at how limp the last area was when the fight against Radec in KZ2 was as hard as I've come across.
Just four of the online trophies to get for the plat; be part of a squad; brutal melee; exo kill and a mid-air kill. Less than an hour's playtime if I'm lucky.
March 21, 2011 at 10:03 pm #69333monkeymoobsMemberCompleted the story on Mafia 2 today was kinda disappointed with the ending though as the rest of the story was pretty good but I'm not gonna plat it cos I'm renting it from lovefilm on a free trial and I want to catch up with a bunch of games I've missed out on recently
March 22, 2011 at 1:24 am #69334I773D33MABL3MemberSpent most of the evening playing BC2: Vietnam with gr8jrfan. The servers are finally working and we got in quite a few solid games. I've had that DLC for months and I'm still impressed.
PS3 server crashed in the end though
March 22, 2011 at 8:02 pm #69335Fabijan321MemberFinally complete Far Cry 2 story mode, about online trophies I dont want to talk, so i wont even try to plat this game.
New Vegas coming for few days
March 23, 2011 at 4:03 am #69340HardAndSloppyMemberplaying crysis 2, its alright, kinda repetitive
March 23, 2011 at 4:17 am #69341gr8jrfanMemberI bought a ton of DLC on Sunday. I’ve been working on the Mafia 2 DLC, which is very dissapointing. I can’t stand being timed. The missions are repetetive and boring. It lacks the great storytelling of the original game and the trophies are a GRIND. I’m also getting a couple BC2:Vietnam matches in, which is a brilliant DLC.
March 24, 2011 at 12:55 am #69343monkeymoobsMemberPlaying Dead Rising 2 which is fun but the saves are really pissing me off
March 24, 2011 at 3:13 am #69344HardAndSloppyMemberbeat crysis 2, not al that great, way better than cod, has some interesting elements such as being able to sneak through the whole game, very repetitve though. Alright none the less. Multiplayer is practically the same.
