That link stuff is definitely weird. I've put successful links up before no problem, I don't know what the deal is. Anyway, the first shortened link was for an article and video about the Mob of the Dead DLC so the Coalition can go get hyped, and the second was a PSNP link to a guy who earned the easter egg trophy in it, even though it doesn't come out until May 19th or something.
I guess this site's code just must really hate Black Ops 2…
Currently grinding the RE6 DLC with Patrick and a lot of it is unimaginative. Onslaught is kinda fun, though.
May 2, 2013 at 2:18 am #73253scotty243MemberPlaying through Vanquish on Hard difficulty and have to say, I'm actually hooked! The controls are weird at first, but after a while I got use to them and am having fun with it. Balls to the wall action that never feels tedious with a nice challenge and impressive cinematic scale and scope, Vanquish is just the perfect Summer blockbuster
Can't wait to finish Lara Croft with Em. That game is total shit.

Yes. Guardian of Light
May 6, 2013 at 1:06 am #73263I773D33MABL3MemberChrist! Feels like an age since I've been on!
I haven't been gaming much lately as I've been bitten by the reading bug again. And there seems to have been a tonne of football on.
But the PS3 got some much deserved attention over the last few days and I started off by grabbing a few more of the challenges in BO2 (I can never seem to play for more than an hour without getting bored) and then I started the excellent Ni No Kuni.
But yesterday and today have been dedicated to the truly awesome Farcry 3: Blood Dragon. Easily one of the best DLCs I've ever played. Took me about 10 hours to 100% and for €12 that's a bargain.
May 6, 2013 at 4:26 am #73264Frederick_PlaystationMemberI wouldn't call it a DLC.
It's more of a standalone title, like Festival of Blood.

It's downloadable content, therefore, it's DLC
May 6, 2013 at 11:57 pm #73268Seibei4211MemberConclusion: BioShock Infinite is DLC.

So with that type of thinking in mind, everything I download off the PS Store, Steam, Origin, XBLA is all DLC?
Infinite is amazing. How dare you.

May 9, 2013 at 12:50 am #73280KriggsMemberPlaying through ASSassins Creed: Revelations. I'm pretty bored to be honest. I enjoyed Brotherhood but I really couldn't care anymore.
May 11, 2013 at 6:43 pm #73283scotty243MemberFinished Vanquish last night, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The game sprouts some of the most impressive set pieces I've seen, and this is coming from a game released in 2010. There's a specific quick-time event towards the end of the game that's completely jaw-dropping; it's quite awesome, to say the least.
Going to try clean-up then knock out a few of those challenges which seem to have already kicked my ass!!
Borrowed a friend's copy of Resistance 3 Wednesday to raise up my completion. Started the entire game from scratch and have been liking it thus far. Should have this finished in a few days depending on what's happening then should start clean-up before beginning Superhuman.
May 22, 2013 at 8:33 pm #73293I773D33MABL3MemberI'm about 30 hours into Ni No Kuni, really enjoying the game but I'm dreading the crazy grind at the end. I've been capturing familiars as I go along and I'm up to about 85 out of the 250 I need for the trophy. But there are quite a few items needed for various missions/alchemy formulas that rely on random drops and that's always a complete shite to do.
I also started Thomas Was Alone on the Vita. Nothig amazing but grand for passing time on the bus.
Also, on the topic of the Vita, Ecolibrium can kiss my ass. I waited nearly six weeks for an online challenge to roll around and then when it does they only give one poxy day's notice. The previous one had a week's notice! I was away at my father's and didn't get a chance to chck so I missed the start. Fcuking balls!
May 24, 2013 at 2:56 am #73299scotty243MemberAfter finishing The Devil's Cartel, I loaded up Resistance 3 and have been knocking out trophies like fighters in a boxing ring. On my Superhuman playthrough and need about 10 trophies left, so should have the plat Sunday, perhaps?
It's been a fun ride, despite the fact that I usually play it when I'm tired as hell.
Warhammer boosting hasn't been fun by any means. I think I've spent more time asleep than I have on playing the actual game!!
Installing DUST 514 to give it a go sometime with a friend. Perhaps it's learned some of the faults that were presented in the beta (which last quite some time…)? Don't know exactly when we'll get to it, but it should be enjoyable…
Going to give Just Cause 2 a go sometime next week with a “one playthrough method”, so starting from scratch on Hardcore to save me some time. Perhaps I'll get into it this time…
May 24, 2013 at 7:28 pm #73301emdeepeeMemberBit of DOA5 on the ps3 and MK on the Vita. Since I've no interest in learning specific character moves for these games I'm just button bashing my way through the respective story modes.
