@ Kriggs
Oh, yeah! Don't get me started with Far Cry 3 Do that! DO. IT!!
Also, meant to throw in there, try The Walking Dead from Telltale; it's unique and very immersive with a trophy list that compliments you for playing the game, literally.
Anywho, spent the majority of my day playing through Sleeping Dogs trying for collectibles and the 100% before finally saying ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** it; I've been so goddamn bored going for those trophies in that game, it's like Mafia II all over again! I thoroughly enjoyed it's story, but everything else is just excrutiating for me to complete. I'll have to give this one a wait as having to possibly do another playthrough is depressing
At the main menu of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon right now, going to spend my time trying to enjoy this for the latter part of the day as well as the beginning of the next…
June 8, 2013 at 3:55 pm #73361KriggsMemberI think the sly games might be just what I need to play right now. Farcry 3 and sleeping dogs although highly rated would probably be too heavy a game for me to play at the moment.
I will eventually get round to those two though.
June 10, 2013 at 2:04 am #73368scotty243MemberKnocked out 100%'s for both Pac-Man and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, which I both enjoyed tremendously. Towards the end of the list, both became a bit tedious however it didn't deteriorate the overall experience in any way.
Started up The Cave a few days ago and will resume progress on it. Can't say much about my thoughts on it since I'm only 40 minutes into the actual game. The paintings on the wall though are cool, especially the Knight's backstory, which is quite hilarious, I think. Perhaps I could get this done by Tuesday?
June 10, 2013 at 3:56 am #73374gr8jrfanMemberI'm becoming completely bored and disinterested with this whole trophy collecting thing. I'm hoping when Last of Us comes around, it'll be a breath of fresh air, but if not, I'll continue to enjoy the larger social life I've created in the past few weeks that's more or less going my way.
Anyway, I got the Red Faction Armageddon Platinum + 100% today and it was probably the first platinum I've received that just felt completely empty. I didn't feel like I achieved anything whatsoever. Maybe because it was too easy? Or maybe reality's creeping in or something? I don't know whether to like that or not. I was also getting the collectables in the PS3 version of Sly 4 today and it just felt like fcuking busywork.
June 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm #73377emdeepeeMemberSlowly eating into the backlog and have managed to clear a few games such as Blood Dragon and Dead Island. Have stalled on Dishonored again (I'm sure I'll finish it one day) whilst dipping into a bit of Joe Danger 2.
On top of that I've been playing some Velocity Ultra on the Vita which I've really been enjoying.
Thinking of starting up Ico tomorrow, what with the impending influx of new Plus games on the horizon I could do with clearing down some space.

I know exactly what you mean, trophy hunting is getting boring.
For the first time in months I started a game and actually enjoyed it, the reason why is because I didn't even glance at the trophy list. I started playing LOTR:War in the North and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I think I might just do the same for the next while when I'm playing new games.
June 13, 2013 at 3:22 am #73387I773D33MABL3MemberWell Ni No Kuni is starting to boil my piss.
***Slight Gameplay Spoiler, not related to story (story is shite anyway)***
I know most games recycle enemies but re-skinning the bosses and having to fight them all over again after the main game is just bloody tedious. And most RPGs have a level cap on enemies and a bit of power-leveling on your part can be a real help. Not this though, you need your ass to be level 90+ to have a hope off completeing some of the last missions. It's a shame to see a game I enjoyed overstay it's welcome.
That crap aside, I started into the new Zombies DLC with the lads and that's been a proper laugh. One of the easier trophy sets it seems but coupled with one of the better maps. Physics are still ass though and some of the detection boxes for weapons and interaction points are just plain broken. Nathan got screwed at least twice because the prompt to press square just wouldn't come up when he needed it.
June 14, 2013 at 12:17 am #73394I773D33MABL3MemberHad the brother over today and we got in some Borderlands 2. It's taken us ages to get around to playing the bloody thing. I'm enjoying it but (and excuse me for blaspheming) maybe I'm a little underwhelmed? The new weapons are cool but it still feels a little too familiar.
June 15, 2013 at 10:19 am #73433emdeepeeMemberThought I'd give Ico a go after hearing so much about it and have to say its been disappointing. I know it's different (and different is good) but its so boooooooring
June 16, 2013 at 2:43 am #73437scotty243MemberCurrently playing Darksiders on Apocalyptic difficulty. Its been a fun ride thus far, aside from a few stupidly frustrating puzzles. War is a bad ass and the executions, while visceral, are completely kick ass! Wanting to finish this game off on Monday but I can't tell the future

June 21, 2013 at 1:24 am #73443I773D33MABL3MemberWas hoping to get some zombies or Bioshock in on my days off but Kristoff decided to catch some fcuking disease and pissed off to hospital for a few days so that didn't happen. Put a serious grind into Ni No Kuni instead. I've got most of my party ranked up fully with only two out of my nine familiars still in need of XP. I also grabbed the trophies for 2000 glims, 500,000 guilders, 250 familiars and the two for maximising a familiar's familiarity and training. Up to 58% and starting to get some return for my 80+ hours!!
Gave a few hours to Borderlands 2 as well.
Also started Tekken Revolution, should be easy but the sign in ten days in a row trophy is the sort of thing I'll keep messing up…

A good point, well made!
June 21, 2013 at 3:24 pm #73446KriggsMemberWell I'm back out of hospital anyway, thank you Jack for sharing that with the masses
Still not sure what I have but it's left me quite tired so won't be able to play a whole lot for up to the next 6 weeks i think.
Right now though before I pass out I'm playing Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force. It is so mindless it's perfect for me right now
June 22, 2013 at 12:24 am #73448I773D33MABL3MemberOf course I had to share it with the masses! I suspected you might die and the lads would have to know to replace you in the Coalition. I couldn't just leave them guessing.
