Well I'm back out of hospital anyway, thank you Jack for sharing that with the masses
Still not sure what I have but it's left me quite tired so won't be able to play a whole lot for up to the next 6 weeks i think.
Right now though before I pass out I'm playing Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force. It is so mindless it's perfect for me right now
Was it similar to the rash Scotty had?
June 23, 2013 at 4:38 am #73452gr8jrfanMemberSo after suffering through the emotional pain and humiliation that is the “friend zone”, I managed to not go into a depression by drowning myself in The Last of Us's fcuking phenomenal singleplayer experience. I can't wait for DLC to arrive for it; if I were a critic, I'd give it a perfect 10 without a doubt. The multiplayer's actually surprisingly decent too. It's like a cross between the old Socoms and Uncharted with a meta game where the more supplies you get gets you more survivors and gear. Definitely not the worst MP I've been forced into, and when you have a good team all cooperating with mics it's actually pretty fun.
Also rebought Eat Lead to get the last two trophies I need and it's even more awful than I remember.

Yeah actually I think it was, I must've gotten it after reading some of his posts

Eat Lead? You sure you're not spiralling into a depression?! Even I can't bring myself to go back to that turd.
June 23, 2013 at 8:21 pm #73457emdeepeeMemberFinally finished off Dishonored so moved onto Infamous: FOB. Finished that off sharpish so now it's time for a bit of Tomb Raider

Although we all know who will be getting the award (Infinite), I'd give out a nomination to Tomb Raider for GOTY without hesistation. Not once did I try to compare Tomb Raider with Uncharted and even when I did, it was hard for me since I found them to be two seperate games. TR is a story about survival while Uncharted is a cinematic summer blockbuster. Anyway, hope you enjoy
Finally hit my goal of 60% completion rate after finishing Darksiders and I feel completely burnt out. I've more games to play but don't feel the urge to really start anything new. I could start Demon's Souls and whore out the plat within a few days but as of right now, it's unappealing to me. The same could be said about Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge but I think I might just settle with Shank 2 Hard playthrough and co-op sessions on Saint's Row with a friend of mine.
Was thinking of perhaps starting Hydrophobia and Closure next weekend since I'm sick as of right now and have quite a few books I've been eager to read, which I could do throughout the week? Eh, who knows

But but but I thought I was your only friend?
June 28, 2013 at 1:56 am #73475I773D33MABL3MemberAfter Ni No Kuni I feel like something a little quicker so I've started up Crysis 3. Only messed around in the first level but it feels good to be back in the suit and it's nice to have a reason to use the 3D.
June 29, 2013 at 11:46 pm #73479I773D33MABL3MemberSettling into Crysis 3 with a few levels under my belt. Trying to get through completely stealthy like I did in Crysis 2 and the bow makes it so much easier.
Also played a good bit of Ghost Recon online with VaeVictas. Had a good round or two but mostly just got my ass kicked. Some of the maps are just death traps if you're not familiar with them and the guys still playing it are all the die-hards so if they coordinate you can kiss your ass goodbye.
Gonna stick with it though. And Vae will improve far quicker than I will so I can just ride his slip-stream for wins.
July 1, 2013 at 1:52 pm #73485KriggsMemberStill having fun with R & C: Q-force ( Full Frontal Assault in the states). I think I'm almost 70% done but to be honest I'm not really playing it for the full trophy list but can see myself getting the plat out of pure enjoyment.
I might get back into some of the Sims:3 at some stage this week.
July 1, 2013 at 11:20 pm #73486emdeepeeMemberDusted off Tomb Raider (which was excellent) and now onto Crysis. Playing a bit of Limbo on the vita too. Still love this game and personally think its the best PSN game on the market.
July 6, 2013 at 1:53 am #73494I773D33MABL3MemberSpent most of today with LBP Karting. 41% into the story with all levels starred so far. Also picked up the miscelleneous trophies for profile, editing etc. And I downloaded it onto my second PS3 and had that working on the 24hrs in create mode trophy courtesy of an elastic band on the analogues. PLayed a few races/battles online with my brother and mates but we had so many freezes we spent more time out of levels than in.
July 9, 2013 at 2:39 am #73495gr8jrfanMemberI've been busy with a completion spree. I broke a 70% completion ratio a while ago but now it looks like I can maintain it. I took care of re4, Max Payne 3, Spare Parts, Sly 4, and The Last of Us to name a few. I'm hoping to get my last Assassin's Creed 3 trophy today or tomorrow and then I'm going to head on to the Vita Assassin's Creed to mop up the last 40% of the list.
Also, I hope the developers of Shank are sterilized with a rusty knife! Hard Mode is one of the most enfuriating and punishing difficulties I've ever had to do. Just pure bullshit all around!
Looking forward to doing more Zombies tomorrow too. It's been a while since the last session and the Irish can actually hold their own on this map! Hopefully I can board the plane this time!
July 9, 2013 at 6:37 pm #73496emdeepeeMemberWith the weather being unusually hot and sunny here I've spent most of my time outside either biking or reading. Currently getting through World War Z (figured it'd save me a trip to the cinema and is no doubt better than what Hollywood has turned out!
