And with denzel visiting the Big Apple it's meant a reduction in stalker messages begging me to play Dead Island with him!!
July 10, 2013 at 10:35 pm #73501gr8jrfanMemberI can't wait any longer, it's killing me. It's just staring at me on it's damn shelf. I tried to clear space before I started it again but I think I have enough now… I also tried to clear out some shitty games to make it seem all the more rewarding but that's not gonna happen. Well everyone, I'm going to lose myself again in the total immersion that is Skyrim. See you all in a month.
July 14, 2013 at 3:20 pm #73503I773D33MABL3MemberSlowly moving through Crysis 3. Probably doable in a day if I really stuck with it but I'm too distracted with books lately. Also not quite sure what the shit is happening with the storyline.
Putting some time into Ghost Recon online and getting massacred. I always seem to join a team getting steam-rolled and it's not helping that my own skills are paltry.
July 20, 2013 at 5:40 pm #73504emdeepeeMemberGetting round to Hell Yeah. Something a bit different with a twisted sense of humour!
July 23, 2013 at 4:27 am #73508gr8jrfanMemberI killed the Coalition!!!
And it's a good thing, too. It was only in today's session that we discovered Kristoff is a nurse from Silent Hill. Good god, I honestly don't know why James or Heather didn't ever toss the hand radio, because that static drove me nuts! So we nabbed the Mob of the Dead easter egg with a few small hitches but we came out on top, just like we always do.
120 HOURS IN SKYRIM AND I'M STILL GOING. HOLY SHIT, THIS GAME IS GOOD.
July 30, 2013 at 11:01 pm #73513I773D33MABL3MemberTried some more Crysis 3 today but didn't really get anywhere. The game is starting to piss me off. Frustration I can take. Random bullshit not so much.
So to ease my frustration I naturally turned to Black Ops. There's a few zombies trophies left over that I never got around to trying for so tonight I went for 'Perks in Spaaaaaace'. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, the starting area is easily the toughest part. Once I got into space and grabbed a decent gun the biodome just turned into a turkey shoot.
Next up 'Fully Armed and Operational' then onto 'Call of the Dead' to get shagged by George again.
July 31, 2013 at 8:21 am #73518emdeepeeMemberOff to the land of scotty243 at the weekend, so will be aiming to start and finish rayman origins, along with finishing off mgs3. Will be downloading lego lotr and when Vikings attack later on today as well, so should be fairly occupied in the evenings
Almost forgot about Unit 13 too, Plus is just crazy right now!!
August 1, 2013 at 7:57 am #73519emdeepeeMemberPicked up a bit of the reduced NFS DLC for both Wanted and Hot Pursuit so will jump back into those games shortly. Finished of Hell Yeah which to my surprise I managed to 100% in the process (that doesn't happen very often).
August 1, 2013 at 10:15 am #73523Frederick_PlaystationMemberSome L4D on PC.
August 2, 2013 at 6:38 pm #73526scotty243MemberBeen in New York for the last month, so I brought the Playstation with me to keep me occupied in case of boredom.
The last few days have been indulged in finishing the “expansion packs” for Battlefield 3, with Close Quarters being some of the most fun I've had with multiplayer since 1943's 100%. The trophies have been fairly easy and straightforward, aside from Back to Karkand's mind boggling assignments. Going to try and finish up Armored Kill and Endgame tomorrow, with Aftermath finished up afterwards.
Got through the majority of Alice: Madness Returns, which had been very enjoyable throughout, even collectible hunting as well. The world, characters, themes, symbolism, and metaphors are all immensely intriguing with Alice being soley worth the price I paid. Even the first game, American McGee's Alice was pretty good throughout with it being slightly dull towards the end. Should have the game finished by sometime next week with the plat/100% closing in the very next weekend.
August 4, 2013 at 4:24 am #73530gr8jrfanMemberCurrently flipping between Skyrim and rewatching all the Breaking Bad seasons before the show's return in 8 days. So hyped!! Oh and I got 212 hours in Skyrim, I guess. Still haven't even beaten the story yet…
August 4, 2013 at 9:12 pm #73396I773D33MABL3MemberNot doing much with the PS3 lately as my interest has switched to the stack of board games I have. Currently watching a tutorial vid for a Card Game called Death Angel. Rulebook was written by someone that is obviously a total spastic so clarification was needed.
Anyone else into board games?

Does Jenga count?
August 5, 2013 at 11:16 pm #73399Frederick_PlaystationMemberI play the occasional monopoly.
f**k that game.
August 8, 2013 at 8:12 am #73403gr8jrfanMemberI'm finally done with Skyrim. That 100% was held up by the fight with the Ebony Warrior (you have to be level 78 to face him) and I killed him in less than a minute. What a fcuking chump. If I didn't have a billion other games to play and get trophies for, I'd probably still be playing it to be honest. It's hands down the best RPG I've ever played and anyone who says otherwise probably hasn't played enough of it, or is just too cynical to even have a say in anything.
Now it's back to the good old trophy hunting routine. I'm doing the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game which is actually pretty decent for a movie game. It's pretty basic for an action game but it's got enough combos and systems to keep me entertained for now. Slicing and impaling people and countering at the right moment is pretty damn satisfying. There's a fairly large amount of “Dog Tags” to collect but they're decently spread out in the chapters, not obnoxiously around every corner like the ASM game….
I've also got to clear some space on my Vita for some actually fun games I want to play when I go on vacation towards the end of the month. I should have Dragon's Crown, Rayman Origins, PvZ, and Bentley's Hackpack all ready to go if I have the space for it. I'm certainly not playing AC Liberation or Black Ops Declassified while I'm there. Worst purchases ever…..
