Just finished my first playthrough in Diablo III and I've moved onto Nightmare difficulty. Probably going to finish Dungeon Siege III with Kris today.
September 19, 2013 at 12:09 am #73594I773D33MABL3MemberFrustrating day for trophies. Dungeon Siege III glitched on three for me so another full playthrough added to the time this game already doesn't deserve. Well pissed off!
September 21, 2013 at 1:26 am #73595I773D33MABL3MemberA few hours into Nightmare difficulty in Diablo III. Not going too badly but there were a few panic ridden moments. The quality of gear has gone way up though.
September 22, 2013 at 2:48 am #73598scotty243MemberFinished up The Force Unleashed II an hour or two ago, thankfully Spent most of my day solely trying to acquire a single collectible I missed – there was no in-game stats to even check which missions had all the collectibles obtained!! There was one cool thing about the entire product and that was the fact that the cinematic set pieces were authentic and all spectacle
I'm unsure as to what to start now, or even finish, to be honest. I said that I'd finish PAYDAY 2 as soon as I got TFU2 out of the way, but I can't bring myself up to it at the current state.
Lord of the Rings has taken the backburner, even though I've been really enjoying it despite the freezing catastrophe Kris, Em, and I encountered.
My friend finally let me hold his copy of Red Dead, but it accidentally showed up 2 days prior of GTA V's release, so the one guy I was going to play with for a bit while I waited for Jack and Kris already loaded up GTA, thus making me question what else to do? Maybe I'll start the single player portion to keep me busy for a bit since I truly don't want to begin anything new such as Diablo III nor do I feel up to finishing Borderlands 2 or MGS4 as of now.
Aside from my sporadic gaming that's been ensueing for the past month, I've been spending quite sometime reading a few good books lately and finished up the exquisite novel: The Road. Aw man, just a labor of love throughout Red Dragon's next up, with Lost Girls following there after
September 24, 2013 at 11:04 pm #73600emdeepeeMemberPlayed a bit of Unit 13 which has been quite a bit of fun. Still a long way to go with it yet though.
October 4, 2013 at 4:56 pm #73603emdeepeeMemberFinished off GTA V yesterday and then the last few missions of SRIV today. Will be moving onto Last Of Us tonight as long as don't get dragged into any shitty online co-op with Scotty.
October 4, 2013 at 11:56 pm #73604I773D33MABL3MemberHaven't been on much lately as I've been reading quite a bit. Finished my Nightmare playthrough of Diablo III last night and got through most of Act I on Hell difficulty today. I finished the last of the conversations I needed in Nightmare so I can ignore any of the characters not needed for quests now. I just got the 'Deep Pockets' trophy for 500K gold so I'm still a long way off 5 million.
The other grind for 100 Treasure Goblins will be a lot easier though as I managed to get the 'Puzzle Ring' which has a chance of spawning one every time I get hit. I've already killed more than I did on my last playthrough.
October 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm #73606I773D33MABL3MemberJoined Scotty for some Diablo III on Sunday. He's on his first playthrough so I was fairly mincing anything I came across. But it looks like certain events/areas only open up during a co-op playthrough so I'm looking forward to doing a full run and clearing up some of the challenges.
October 15, 2013 at 1:54 pm #73611emdeepeeMemberFinally got round to playing Last Of Us, now time for a bit of Splinter Cell: Blacklist
October 18, 2013 at 7:49 pm #73621KriggsMemberSince I was last on I've played quite a bit. I set up my 2nd ps3 upstairs in my bedroom for when I got out of Hospital to keep me occupied while I recover. I downloaded a ton of games I've been meaning to finish/start. Here's a list:
Spec ops:The Line (plat)
Dragons Dogma (72%, will plat before next week)
Mafia 2 (plat)
XCOM (not started yet)
Sleeping Dogs (not started yet)
Infamous (64%)
Infamous 2 (not started yet)
Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (not started yet)
FarCry 3 (not started yet)
I know there's more but I can't think of what they are right now and I'm nowhere near my ps3 at the moment.
I also tidied up some old trophies from MW2, I had none of the spec ops done and I managed to finish a lot of them myself. Going to get someone to help me locally because the lag is killer if you play it online.

“BEST GAME OF THIS GENERATION”
October 19, 2013 at 11:48 pm #73623I773D33MABL3MemberOkay, so the Diablo III obsession continues. Finished off Hell difficulty and started into Inferno on my solo run. Then today myself and Scotty chewed through Act I of nightmare difficulty on his playthrough. I've been putting a lot of effort into the in-game challenges and I've managed to almost hit the 50% mark.
In terms of trophies I've to beat all bosses on Inferno, complete three more triumphs (Only available on Inferno), get to Lvl 30 on Hardcore, buy all items from vendors (only one left) and pick up 5,000,000 gold. On about 1,100,000 so far but I want to play through with the other classes so I'll get there without just grinding.
October 21, 2013 at 7:20 pm #73624KriggsMemberWorking my way through my second playthrough of Dragons Dogma. It's such a good game and I'm having a lot of fun with it. The trophies I have left are pretty straight forward so I should have it finished by the end of the week but I can see myself playing this till I get to lv 200 🙂
October 22, 2013 at 4:01 am #73625scotty243MemberGaming has been a bit sporadic with me for the last month or so – popping in and offline, Netflix, school, etc. However, with all of that, I've been able to progress a tad bit in a few games I own.
Diablo III with Jack has been nothing less than fun, with the game blending solo, as well as co-op play, seamlessly. Concluded my first playthrough: Normal, a few weeks back and I was intrigued, however perplexed by the fact that I didn't care for a story all too much, that I just wanted something interesting to be told with bad ass cutscenes and a majority of gameplay presented. Anywho, it's easily slipped into one of my favorite games due to enrapturement of the world depicted through it's jaw-dropping cutscenes boasting spectacle as well as integrated brilliantly through it's gameplay aspects – fantastic.
War in the North took a turn for the worst a few days back, with an infuriating game-breaking bug in which players are literally forced to the start of the game without compensation or remorse. Em and I were progressing through the shite story, (which blatantly spoils The ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** Hobbit without consideration for those who haven't read or seen the films yet) then received a notion to travel towards Mirkwood. As us bad asses do, we get our geared checked out, preparing for the final chapter or so of the game, only then to notice that it is impossible, im-***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE***-possible to travel there, no matter what you do. After reviewing several guides thoroughly, I repeated the steps granted to only find myself where I began: nowhere. This game will sit on my hard drive till I fire it up on a rainy day, and if I happen to progress to where I evidently left, to no avail, then ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** this game – there's no way in hell I'm going to drag myself through more undeveloped, unpolished, and degrading pieces of trivial on the market for a few virtual trophies.
Since I've been able to have a few games “done 'n dusted”, I've pondered the thought of finishing PAYDAY 2, even though I resent grinding in almost every way possible, unless it's Diablo, however I love heist-related things as well as being a fan of the franchise (mainly the first), so I may put an end to it sometime Friday; I'll have to grind practically all day, but I'll be able to sleep at night.
With Thursday and Friday off for me, other than perhaps finishing Dean Koontz' engrossing Frankenstein: Book One: Prodigal Son, as well as some school work, I'll try and dip into the backlog for once to finish some shit and start some others.
October 22, 2013 at 9:56 pm #73628emdeepeeMemberStarted up Urban Trial Freestyle. Not bad for a freebie and certainly more enjoyable than LOTR!!
