After being railroaded into more online co-op by Denzel I've now got 0% for Outland, which is exactly how it's going to stay. Awful!
October 25, 2013 at 8:03 pm #73634emdeepeeMemberWhored a few trophies out of Street Fighter x Tekken today. Online looks pretty dead so don't think I'll be picking up many of those.
October 26, 2013 at 9:01 am #73635emdeepeeMemberWrapped up Blacklist, so now it's onto Arkham Origins
October 30, 2013 at 9:16 pm #73638I773D33MABL3MemberFinished my Inferno playthrough in Diablo III. Now up to level 12 on my hardcore run. The trophy is for hitting level 30 but I need to get to sixty for the chalenge.
After that the only trophy I'll need is 5 million gold but I've loads of challenges left.

Damn!! Need to finish my Hell playthrough sometime this weekend!!
Grinded a bit of PAYDAY 2 between Saturday and Sunday, and managed to rise up 13 levels since I previously played spanning about a good 2-3 hours, I assume? The grinding isn't becoming too overwhelming, and I'll easily break up the pure grinding sessions with actual game time with Diablo III or Red Dead story progression, etc.
November 1, 2013 at 1:48 pm #73641emdeepeeMemberBorderlands, yes fcuking Borderlands, not even Borderlands 2!!! And why am I playing this glitched piece of shitty ancient history? One word: Denzel!
November 11, 2013 at 12:12 am #73650scotty243MemberSo, for the past week, I've indulged most, if not all, of my gaming time towards 'Red Dead Redemption' and I've been enjoying it thoroughly. The single player is rich and brim with excitement around every corner with bounties, treasures, and other activities to keep you busy in-between the emotional story. I'm quite glad I gave this game a another go after a poor attempt the first time around, since I probably would've missed out on one of Rockstar's finest titles. I've 68.7% of the SP done, with 16 actual story missions to conclude, followed with some bounties and stranger side quests. I'm attempting to try and find some guys to help me with the MP stuff, since once I'm done with the SP, I'd like the wrap up the MP shortly after.

November 14, 2013 at 12:49 pm #73656emdeepeeMemberFinished off B:TS pretty quickly (by my standards anyway) so gonna load up Wolf Amongst Us. Reckon I can get that and the Burial At Sea DLC knocked out pretty sharpish too.
November 17, 2013 at 9:17 pm #73659emdeepeeMemberLego Marvel Super Heroes
November 18, 2013 at 2:51 am #73660scotty243Member'PAYDAY 2' grinding – currently level 82 with 9.8 million XP out of the 23.3 million required. I typically average about 1.5 million an hour, so throughout the week, I'll be attempting this for a few hours a day. I'm almost done with the game, so why not finish it?

Ahhh! How did you like The Wolf Among Us? I thought it was. So. Fcuking. Awesome. The art style and noir like everything it's just so amazing. When's episode 2? I need it in my life!! I didn't know what to expect, I just trusted telltale and MAN was that a smart idea.
So for the most part, I've been busy with this girl but ah whatever, I'm done with that bullshit for now. To let you guys know how long I actually lasted, I believe the date on my last platinum was when I asked her out so yeah… Again, whatever lol. When was the last time I posted? There's no way I can include everything I skimmed over in these last couple months. But I'll try seeing as how this site's still as small and adminless as ever
GTA5 lived up to my lofty expectations. Man the GOTY awards are going to be interesting this year. This year was so good with all these amazing ass titles AND the PS4. Such a step up from last year which had what? Far Cry 3, TWD, Sleeping Dogs and RE6? Eh. These games are coming out faster than I can even finish them where last year there would be like three consecutive months without buying a new game. It'll probably boil down to TLOU vs. GTA5 but it doesn't matter. I think this entire year has just been radical, and with the PS4, I'm still optimistic for 2014.
Batman Arkham Origins was really fun when I did my first playthrough, but oh my GOD did I realize how disapointing it really is the second time through. The Dark Knight challenge system completely screwed up and sucked out all the fun I originally had with it. The Worst Nightmare track strips you of all your freedom, because there is only ONE room where you can get Rank 6, and it's in the story. So if you're like me, or most Batman fun-loving people in the world, you just wanted to beat the story and get whatever side content you could on the way, paying NO attention to the DK challenges. Because why would you ever assume they would put missable challenges in an open world game where there are constantly enemies walking around on rooftops and the streets that count in the experience system as fcuking predator encounters not count as predator encounters for the DK system? UGHH. It's hard to explain unless you actually are aware of the Worst Nightmare track. But hey, props to Troy Baker, who did a really competent Joker surprisingly. He's been killing it, he's Booker DeWitt, Joel, the Joker, and Hawkeye and Loki in Lego Marvel in this year alone.
Lego Marvel though… I really need to try Lego LOTR because otherwise I'd say this was the best Lego game since Batman 2. The story was nice and the open world has a lot that's just fun to get lost in. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of any of the jokes this time, especially that god awful schawarma gag A lot of the characters feel really good, the most realistic that you can get to play as some of these dudes sadly enough. Like Iron Man feels exactly like how you'd think he'd actually play if that makes sense? It's hard to put into words, it's a feel haha. And the way Loki fights and dances around his sceptar and Hulk's run and Cap's shield throw, it just all feels exactly like how I always wanted, and that's worth the price of admission alone if you ever wanted to play a good game with the Avengers. It's absolutely baffling to me that the Lego team can nail the feel of playing as Iron Man more than the actual Iron Man 2 game. But I guess it shouldn't be since they're actually halfway competent. Try it out if you haven't already, people. I'd definitely say it's a good “first lego game” too if that's what's holding you back. Get it to play as your favorite Avenger, everyone loves them, they probably nailed exactly how you imagined their likeness would be.
I have 46 golden bricks and 50 character tokens to go. Just unlocked Stan Lee and Deadpool. Those two put a huge smile on my face
But that's mostly it. Remember life's most important lesson, people: Bros before hos!
November 20, 2013 at 11:16 am #73669Seibei4211MemberLast year also had Portal 2, Journey, and Dishonored. I also liked Kingdoms of Amalur and Asura's Wrath. This year, I can't think of a lot of really good games. I can think of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, which almost doesn't count. Metro: Last Light is my main favorite game that I can think of. And I guess Brothers would be a good PSN GotY.
November 20, 2013 at 4:54 pm #73670gr8jrfanMemberPortal 2 was 2011 dude. Like early 2011 too. It came out the day of the PSN outage. Forgot about Dishonored, still need to play Journey. I guess not all the nominations this year are for everyone but I've enjoyed all of them so far.
November 20, 2013 at 5:31 pm #73672emdeepeeMemberOne thing I've liked about Marvel Super Heroes and Batman 2 is that they haven't been restricted by having to stick to the movies they're based on. Playing Marvel is like watching the movie you're never going to see at the cinema due to differing movie rights.
Only about a third of the way through MSH and at this point I would say Batman shades it for best Lego game.
