The games I watched today were rather exciting, way better than the qualifying games.

Lots of energy in the Korea vs Uraguay game.. I enjoyed watching that one.

The USA game was OK, glad Ghana won, I was rooting for them lol.

If Mexico wins tomorrow, I officially give up on this World Cup business.

il admit im supporting germany but you guys are so unlucky that was a terrible decision buy the ref/assistant. what a first half cant wait for the second half

edit 3-1 germany wooohooo lol

if it stays this way the goal that wasnt given will be irrelavent

I still blame the ungiven goal it demoralized me let alone the players FIFA need to stop being traditional and get with the times Video refs are the way forward.

Bye Bye England!

That English side didn't deserve to make it beyond the group stages and Germany showed them why. I'm glad the game ended up 4-1. If it had stayed at 2-1 then we would have had weeks of the tabloids whining about it. “Robbed” being a favourite/predictable headline.

Not that I mean that as a dig at the English, I'm sh*t sick of listening to the Irish whinge about the 'Hand of Frog'. You'd think we'd have taken a dose of reality instead of embarrassing ourselves on a national stage. “Can we be the 33rd team?” “Eh… no, fcuk off”

Good game, well for the last 10 minutes off the first half, were england actually woke up! ungiven goal, well everyone saw it went inthey know they scored so it couldnt have hurt their morale that much, although it must be gutting.

But where on earth was englands defence? oh i know it was up in the germany's penalty box…and there were some very dodgy choices from the manager, take defoe off for hesky? why? think it would have been smarter taking Rooney (whom was brain dead) and placing Crouch on for he's tall and could probably handle those high crossings.

Germany played great though, they were all over England defence (well, what remained of it), as soon as their was a break they just plowed through like they did with Poland some 70+years ago, and im surprised there was only 4 goals. and they werent trying to walk the ball to the goal like england…dont get me wrong i was supporting england, but even as a fan i could tell they didnt deserve to win when the second half started (yes i was extremely pissed off at that ungiven goal at first!)

Well, i still blame disallowed goal cuz it wud have been 2-2, ang Ger's 3rd & 4th gols were on the counter attack whilst all but 1 or 2 of Eng's players were up the field

If it had been 2-1 then perhaps… But if your playing in the World Cup, as a team, you need to get over tough decisions… Seriously… England never looked like a winning team this whole world cup.

At least it's something for you(the English) to complain about for another 4 years… No, it was nothing to do with the teams performance… It was ALL about 1 disallowed goal.
