Germany were allowed to score on the counter-attack because half the English squad didn't know where they were meant to be on the pitch.

Apart from a brief ten minutes of decent play (which didn't end with the disallowed goal but rather when Germany woke up again) England were useless. If James hadn't been on top form then it would have been 7-1.

I seriously can't stand football. It's not a mans sport and they get paid stupid money for it. I could go on all evening about the bad things about the sport but the one thing that really gets on my wick is the fact that people think one match ruins their whole life. I mean, my WHOLE Facebook news feed was full of all my mates going, “IT SHOULD BE 2-2!” and “STUPID NAZI'S!” and “THE REF IS BLIND”

I was sitting with my girlfriend watching the second half and LOLING so much as goal after status after goal rolled in.

Really? Does your life end because you lost yet another world cup? Do you have to cry like the bum boys on the tv? In fact, do they have to cry? Are you playing and losing like the guys on the pitch are? Do you have to slate the England team when, clearly, they were never going to win this year? No, so go make me a sammich, bitch.

Well well, England were awful!

Now that that's over & done with I think the squad needs a major re-shuffle. We need to bring in new players, basically promote the under 21 team, as not one player in the current England squad has ever shined for country. None of them have the international pedigree that the likes of Germany possess. Lampard, Ferdinand, Heskey & co need to retire from the international seen for me, they are now too old & just lack the desire of the south americans, like Tevez, who just never give up.

Any who I will now be supporting my 4th home of Spain, but only because I'm part spanish. Other than that I couldn't give a crap who wins now. Referee…

Even if England's second goal was allowed they would still have been beaten. But that's not the point, goal line technology needs to be brought in!

The commentators kept going on about James being amazing but as a goalkeeper myself i couldn't help but notice he was just using his legs and the 2nd german goal would have been an easy save if had covered his near post admittedly he made some good saves but i felt if i was in goal i would have saved that and even the first one where he back-paddled on a one on one he should have dived at his feet. But hey it's over now nothing we can do gotta wait another 4 years to add a 2nd star
