Hi all.I was doing some cleaning today and found 2 of my old ps1 consoles and it got me thinking. What happens if you have 2 ps3s?
Since the controllers are bluetooth, how does the controller know which ps3 to control? can you play both at the same time? Does 1 ps3 interfere with the other ps3 bluetooth signal? Do they have to be more than 30 feet apart lol?
anyone have this dilemma or have 2 ps3s that could enlighten me?
May 8, 2009 at 11:33 pm #24951kingawolMemberi don't have that problem , but it reminded me of that guy on youtube with '3 ps3s' …. and now i'm asking myself the same question : do they interfere with one another…? can of worms you opened….

ok, when you buy a ps3 controller, you have to plug it into the ps3 system, to register it on THAT system only. So, no i wouldnt interfere. If you bring your controller to ur friends house, you have to plug it in and register it on that ps3, then register it back on your ps3.
May 8, 2009 at 11:35 pm #24955tridonMemberI don't see this being a problem as you have to connect your controller to your PS3 for the system to recognize it before you can use it. However, if you plugged the same controller into both systems so both systems recognize it, something may happen. Try it out and let me know sometime! =)

When your register it with a PS3, it will only work with that PS3, and then when you register with another one, it wipes the other machine off. The same happens with the wii.
