Best gig: Muse at the ACC, absolutely brilliant. They are hands down the best live band in the world.
Also, Them Crooked Vultures (seen them twice), when I saw them the first time, it was a small venue, and I got to stand right in front of the band. John Paul Jones, Josh Homme, and Dave Grohl, all within 10 feet of me.. Insane. one of the best nights of my life!
Worst gig: Don't have one.. I love every single gig I have went to! But the worst gig I have ever been a part of, was when my band played a gig at this really small bar, and the sound guy was a complete idiot, so I had to do most of the stuff myself. And we barely fit on the freaking stage! So lame.
Oh and..
Halo of Nembutals – Mars Volta. This is a band I need to see live!

Best Gig was my worst too cos I only been to one it was a bunch of local bands was pretty awesome moshing for about 3 hours was pretty beat up by the end of it though i'm going to another on the 26th this month so i'll be able to have a best and worst then
November 11, 2010 at 1:42 am #67945jenkem_addict88Memberbest gig ever would be Yonder Mountain String Band. Ive seen them twice, once in Tulsa at the Cains and at this years Harvest Music Fest. I have no clue which one was better. Ive never seen someone try so hardto try to put on a show. And ive seen ALOT of music IMO.
worst gig ever was Sound Tribe Sector N9ne at Wakarusa. It was sooo bad. the guitar went out FOUR OR FIVE TIMES and once it was seriously 20 seconds before a solo. So instead of an epic show of talent, it was a minute of the keyboad in the background. However Widespread threw an EPIC show the next night, thats right up there with the yonder set so F U Soundtribe.
Now that I think about it, both nights of Tool at Red Rocks this summer was fuckin epic too. Best gig is a toss up between this and the previously mentioned yonder sets.
Oh, and never, ever, go see RUSH, ever. I got a free ticket and saw them last month and it was attrocious. like really fukin attrocious.

Amen to that.
Rush is absolute crap. One of the most over-rated bands ever. The truth is, their singer just cant sing.
Vision Of Division – The Strokes

Damn straight.. Rush is crap. Canadian music is pretty decent I guess. Nothing too great though!
Crash Test Dummies? Never heard of them. Wish I could tell you, but I have truly never even heard of them. A lot of people up here like Alexisonfire, which is awesome, cuz they are a great band.

I hate every band you just listed. Well actually, Billy Talent is alright, and OLD Sum 41 was amazing. The rest of that list makes me ashamed about Canadian music. Alexisonfire is probably my fav Canadian band atm. The UK and USA have much better music scenes tbh.
Stockholm Syndrome – Muse.
I LOVE this song.
