Marilyn Manson – Mechanical Animals album
Such an awesome album, def. in my top 5 all time fav. albums…. I could talk at length about why this is such a timeless album, every song is good and has meaning behind it, perhaps a little depressing but that's life… Before Manson sold out and started releasing sh!t.
“I’m not attached to your world… Nothing heals, nothing grows”
I'm a big fan of Manson myself, it was the band that got me into metal and while I now listen to much extremer stuff, I still have his earlier music. When you listen to albums like Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood you can tell exactly where he was in life when he wrote them. He had a depth and investment in his music that very few commercial bands even come close to touching.
Well, at least before he became an “artist” instead of a musician.
'Enemies of Reality' from the album of the same title by Nevermore. Counting down to the new album The Obsidian Conspiracy next week.
