well, I kinda am one on the list, hospital cleaner/disinfector. except I'm a glorified version, as radiation safety workers like myself go into a room after a patient who recieved radiation therapy are discharged to decontaminate the room of all the radioactive material. After I'm done, the normal facilities people go in and do the disinfecting part… but uh,,, yeah they hate their job, cause those rooms aren't that clean. That's probably the worst part of my job.
have any of you guys seen the show Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe? Any of those jobs are generally worse. I give him and any of those people credit, without that, this world doesn't go round, but thats gotta suck.
An ex-girlfriend of mine was a certified nursing assistant on the alzheimers/dimensia ward in an old folks home, and you couldn't pay me enough to do that. I can't even count the number of times she had one of those people throw feces at her cause they have no idea what was going on. Sometimes they would attack her and she was not legally allowed to do anything about it, or she could get fired/arrested/sued… someone else who was “trained” to be the equivalent of a bouncer would have to rip them off of her… ::::paging Dr. Strong, paging Dr. Strong::::
