all the newer versions should be equaly reliable, as long as you keep your ps3 dust free and leave plenty of space around the ps3 for air ventalation it should never break…

me too. it'd play anything that wasn't blu ray just fine

yes. everything but the bluray. it ended some kinda chip in it was fried so they had to replace it

lol goofass. mine worked perfect on anything not bluray. i'd start up a game though and it'd freeze too. but it doesn't freeze now at least lol
