I got a PS3 because it's a better console. I'm no fanboy, but you can't deny that PS3 is the better console all round, as well as being a cheap blu-ray player. As someone said earlier though, there are many xbox exclusive titles that I wish PS3 had.

to be honest i don’t even know why i’m posting on this board it’s a pointless question.

i own 2 ps3’s simply because i have plenty of money and can one silver 60gb original with a 500gb harddrive and the untouched 80gb that is simply there for emergencey purposes. i also own 2 360’s because there is no denying the fact that they are much more advanced media centers then the ps3, i’ve never been on xbox live because i don’t see the point in paying for something sony gives us for free. in the end it all comes down to competition there will always be competition and there are also many pro’s and con’s with both consoles.

yeah sometimes i honestly wish I had a 360 for the media center capabiliities… like playing any music I want in any game… etc. but yes, exactly mitch, it is a pointless debate. Lets just get online and kill each other instead! …uhh… virtually…

well microsoft have the upper hand with the media center bit because they've been doing media centers a bit longer than sony have. (Windows media center).

yeah thats true and sony have given the ps3 a good layout so if they can improve what they already got my 2 360’s will be outta here lol.

Speaking of good layouts my freind who has a 360 told me he thinks the PS3 layout is confusing… i simply laughed at him and told him a chimp could understand it (actuly thats not a bad idea, testing to see if a chimp could understand the layout)

I'm no fanboy myself.

I prefer to play on my ps3 for 3 reasons.

1 – It's black and shiny and i think it looks sexy! achem…

2 – For some reason i have an obsession with the brand 'sony' maybe because of the way its logo text looks like?

3 – Because of the Trophy/Platinum system. I prefer that to xbox achievements because when you get 100% you get a shiny Platinum to reward your determination!

Also becasue it has a bluray player.

Also i knew MGS4 was coming to PS3 and same for other exclusives.

I don't know anything about how xbox live is i just prefer not to pay to play online.

Also the xbox 360 was released when? 2 years before ps3? And now the sales are starting to turn in PS3's favour. They've caught up that whole 2 years of exclusive sales. I think this is correct, i remember reading it somewhere. If im wrong, my bad.

The Wii is making alot of sales because in my opinion its a mainstream system aimed at kids, casual gamers and mainstream people. It is an inferior machine to both the xbox and ps3 but it has hit the jackpot with its sales pitch. FUN!

alot of good idea that people have come up with but i think that the best is 360 is made to make the ps3 look better and for all of you saying that we are no better than 360 fanboys i dont really care, its what fanboys do… plus all 360 fanboys know that the ps3 is better

Look at the time it has taken SONY to release new systems. That is how long it takes quality. Now the X-Box has what, 7 systems out (XBox, Xbox Elite, Xbox 360, Xbox360 arcade, Xbox360 elite) all these different variations. That is not quality, that is greedy.
