Hmm, how are you so sure of Mojo's intentions? Anyways, these forums are officially starting to suck. I can see why admin gave up on it. I'm after meeting a few cool people on here, but now whenever I sign on, I see total retards talking BS. Anyways, I pity a lot of you people who just get on the internet and go out of your way to insult people (copying w4r's picture and drawing a penis on it. Seriously? And then I773D33MABL3 applauding it?) If you guys spent your christmas' cold and alone then I have no doubt that you act like this in real life too.
Member@redbren – Don't worry about it. When I wrote that I was on page 2 of this forum. If you just look from the top on that page you were just the 1st person to say you don't like the sound of it, then ratchet says that he heard it'll be $10 a month and Sony's turning out like Microsoft, then KOG73 says that he heard it can be $30 – $60 a month….
So, we're cool, I just didn't like checking out any topic and seeing people get insulted for no reason. I'm not applauding what Tattoo wrote either, but he does have a point. Let's all just forget it for now and see what the offerings are when they are available.

Anyways, Tattoo is correct and should have posted what he did. Check Redbrens post at the top of the screen. Some people are under the impression that Sony is going to start charging for their current free service, and people are pretty ticked off because of that. Check this link
See, as of right now, a lot of peoples opinions are coming from information that is wrong. PSN as we know it will remain free and any premium services will be extra. Tattoo is stating that we should just wait to see what the premium services will be before we dish out our opinions, which may be totally wrong.
So thats my opinion. I guess Mitch will be the first to congratulate me on posting my opinion, as he believes everyone gets to say whatever they think, including calling people d*ckheads. So as much as I'd like to call some people d*ckheads right now, I will not, as I believe some opinions are usually better off unsaid.

MemberI got both the Hong Kong copy and the US copy (double trophies ftw!) Many people think it's too hard and don't like the game. Realistically though, the game is really easy. It IS easy to die, but theres no penalty for dying. The only penalties are:
1- A CHANCE you may lose some souls (experience points)
2- You go back to soul form IF you died in body form (in soul form you only have 50% of your max hp, OR ~80% if you have the cling ring equipped. The cling ring is something you get at the beginning of the game anyways)
So thats it. For losing exp, there is an area in the 4th world that gets you LOADS of exp. so that dosen't matter. For the soul form option you can use a stone of ephemeral eyes to come back to life OR get summoned into someone elses game and beat a boss to get revived as well.
The game will test your patience sometimes, but its the most authentic action/rpg thats ever been made. If you're gonna get the game, message me and I can give you a couple starter tips to make it much easier for you as well.Oh and btw, don't expect to get the plat! You have to do about 4 playthroughs minimum to get the materials for the trophies.

At first I thought he was a raging 360 fanboy, but then I read reason #1 which seems sarcastic (“There are more discs, so it must be better”) , but then I skimmed down and the rest of it actually attacks sony…but the attacks are beyond stupid (“there are no forced installs on the 360 version”…there are none on ps3 as well, “Online multiplayer would be better on 360 IF the game had online multiplayer” – WHAT?!

MemberYeah, Cross game chat is useless (in my opinion). I paid for 360's live for a few years and used it a couple times to try it, but it's a total waste for me.
For the premium themes for free – I want to get all the “Hot Chicks with the massive cans” themes! I'd get to have my girlfriend scowl at me everytime I turn my PS3 on. Thats right, I like to live dangerously

This is probably whats getting more rumors started, but IF this is what they'll be offering I'll probably pay for it. I've ALWAYS wanted the ability to have my saves backup online. Plus the whole “Try any PSN game for an hour” thing is amazing too! I don't know what “Tokens” are for, but apparently Sony filed a trademark a long time ago on something called “P.S. Thanks” Which may also be a rewards program for subscribers….oh yeah, and the free premium themes as well.
Anyways, all four of those items are even things people are not currently getting for paid xbox live subscriptions. You ever even check the crazy prices for premium xbox themes? (note: they are NOT even nice dynamic ones like we got!) You gotta admit if thats what they're offering it'll be worth something!

Be careful man! I'm after sharing info I found on N4G as well, and it usually turns out to be wrong.
Lets be realistic about one thing: Sony has ALWAYS been saying that current PSN will remain free. They are looking into ADDITIONAL premium services, but PSN as we know it will remain unchanged.
Beyond that, if we get cross game chat, I'd figure that it would be on free PSN. Think about it…what good is cross game chat if only the paying customers have it? So once again, everyone relax. The only confirmed info from sony is that PSN will remain free. Whatever those additional premium services are…no one knows yet.
MemberJust so you know, the UK store and the US store are totally different. They update at different times AND update with different content.
If you are in Alaska, I'm 4.5 hours ahead of you in Newfoundland. The US store updates for me HOPEFULLY at 3pm your time…. Although lately it gets delayed alot. Last night it didnt update until closer to 6pm your time.
Anyways, there is no official time to update. 3pm is probably the earliest it will get, and beyond that they just finish the updates when they're done.
Also, just so everyone knows the store will update on TUESDAY (the 22nd) next week instead of thursday, and then after that there will be NO update at all the following week. The next one will be on January 7th.
MemberDon't worry too much about extra nunchucks. Most casual gamers that get the wii usually just use the Wiimotes. Hell, it's been quite a while since I used my nunchucks too.
$60 though… Mariokart Wii would be what I'd go with. Even my girlfriend loves playing that (but she'll ONLY play if I'm playing too). On the other hand if you figure she will be playing with other people go with an extra wiimote and maybe a blockbuster gift card so she can rent some games.
I wouldn't worry about getting Wii Play. The games aren't bad, but they haven't held any particular interest around my house. If you get the extra wiimote then the best deal is the one for 59.99 with the motion plus included (Normally $50 for the controller and $25 for the motionplus).
And get her some nintendo points! The stuff in the online wii shop is awesome! Theres hundreds of titles from NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Turbografx16, Neogeo and Exclusive Wiiware games (and its all pretty f-ing CHEAP!! $8 for SNES super mario, $5 for nes Super mario, $10 for Legend of zelda:ocarina of time plus all the other awesome old school stuff)
