Yeah BigWoop, Having your trophies sync to your facebook would cause you to have the same conversation ALL THE TIME

Random Girl – “What are these 'trophies' that keep popping up on your profile?”

You- “Oh, when I play PS3 I get those for doing certain things”

Random Girl – “You get those ALL the time! What are you, some kind of ultimate loser?”

You – “Uhm…..yes. Wanna hang out saturday night?”

Random Girl – “NO!”

Then again, it's probably best to just let girls know you play videogames all the time in advance. If she knows that and still starts to go out with you, you'll never have that awkward moment when she finds out you've been hiding your excessive videogame playing. Hell, maybe you'll even meet a chick that likes gaming too. If my GF didn't play Donkey Kong Country with me all the time when we first started going out, I woulda kicked her ass to the curb a loooooooong time ago LOL

Yeah I knew Sony was giving a straight NO to trophies for PSP because of the hackers…

But I realized afterwards that reason dosen't make any sense! Hackers use custom firmware and cannot sign into PSN. So if they are unfairly getting trophies, it wouldn't matter as they could never sync it to their account.

Also, a trophy update for psp would have new firmware anyways. The hackers would have to go through all of the trouble to make custom firmware that allows them to unlock the trophies, and then those trophies would never show on anything else besides that PSP they hacked.

A lot of people are speculating as to why the new LBP for PSP has “Trophies” Listed on the box. I figure that there is a SMALL chance that sony was ready to launch trophies for PSP with LBP being the first game supporting them, but maybe something got messed up and they didn't launch it yet. Anyways, for anyone who wasn't following that story, an email was sent to sony and they said the reasoning for trophies being listed on LBP PSP was :

“Features listed on the box only refer to the PSN experience and not towards the specific title its printed on”

Which seems strange to me as well, as anyone who just owns the PSP knows that trophies are NOT part of the PSN experience, only part of the PS3 experience.

Anyways, sorry for the super long post. I'm most likely dead wrong, but something very fishy is going on there.

Yeah that says it all for me too. BTW, when you say a “decent” storyline, are you saying the first two games did not have decent stories? Or you just want this one to have a decent story as well?

Anyways, I heard Insomniac got a lot of complaints about Resistance 2 and they said it was like having their dog turn on them. I thought Resistance 2 was much better than the first one. I'm sure the third installment will be great as well.

I got it afterwards….It wasn't available until after midnight here (around 4-5am in the UK).

Yeah, pretty minor update…I don't use facebook so I mainly get to change the color of my profile, and everyone who complained about the look of the friends list before got their wish granted. The only update I'm hoping for now is trophies for PSP!

Hey, I'm pretty close to where you are (2nd playthrough and just beat old haven). I do want to keep playing, but I'm currently giving the game a rest until it gets patched again. I want to be able to use the mics in game. Anyways, add me if you'd like…but the next time I load this game up is gonna be on nov 24th to play the DLC. Hopefully the online gets fixed by then too.

I didn't like Fallout 3 that much either. This game can be played as a full FPS, but it has the RPG elements (like gaining levels, getting new equipment and leveling up skills).

Anyways, it dosen't matter how much all of us love the game…If I were you I'd definitely rent it.

Beyond that, if you can't rent it and the reason you didn't like fallout 3 is because of the FPS action (or lack there of), you won't have that trouble with this one…It handles as good as any other FPS

This is not the 1st bad review. There was 1 review (on an actual gaming website) where the reviewer thought it was way too overrated. He still gave the game an 8/10 and the comments following that review were crazy:

“Oh this reviewer is just a 360 fanboy who can't enjoy anything on the PS3”

“He didn't like the game just because he sucks at videogames anyways”

Hey, I didn't like the game either. Deadklown hates it too (sorry to drag you into this LOL). Thats the problem with the internet today, you say you don't like a game like Uncharted 2 and people will really attack you like THEY made it or something.

HOWEVER – Tridon, you did make 1 mistake though. Always remember your audience when you post something like this. You're listing your COMPLAINTS (complaints are never well recieved anyways) about Uncharted 2 on a website where the majority of other users are outspokenly massive fans of the game.

Thats like me listing my reasons I don't like 360 on xbox.com…. of course i'm gonna get flamed, no matter how fair and valid those reasons may be

Concerning iTunes and iPod xfers….I have no idea! Check your instruction manual for that item and see what you gotta do.

Once again though, the only reason I posted this topic is just to say that it's neat the PS3 will copy it to your PSP automatically. Those digital copies of movies have been around for at least 2 years now.

Hell if you really want to…ANY DVD can be ripped and the video file can be restructured to make your own digital copy. The only problem is that when you rip a dvd, the programs that shrink the size of the video file can take a looooooong time. Like, several hours (no exaggeration) depending on the length of the movie. On this website (http://www.dvdtopsp.com/) the guy is selling a program which he says does the conversion 4x faster. You can get PSP Video9 for free, but It literally takes longer to put the movie on your PSP than it does to watch it.

-assuming that you started posting as soon as you were born

-assuming that this website existed back then

and in my case

-assuming that the internet was even invented when I was born. or maybe we can assume i was born, then immediately taught how to type and then thrust into a time machine 4 times per year to 2009 so I can post on this website.

Yeah, here's the system:

When you have 300 trophies, you're impressing the people with 100 or less.

When you have 1000, you're impressing people with 500 or less

When you have 2000+, you're impressing those with 1000 or less

Take a moment to note that NO WHERE in those listings is the word “Girls” (or any synonym) mentioned.

Trust me, if you have zero trophies, you're probably doing a lot better than all of us combined.

That may very well be correct though. I guess he could just be spelling insomnia with a U and throwing a silent H into Killer. Hopefully he leaves a post confirming that soon.
